We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and a very nice looking lobby. We only stayed for one night as we were making our way back home to Michigan after a 2 week trip to the New England states. Even though it was only one night, we managed to have a full day of sight-seeing, dinner and then back to the hotel to use the exercise room and the pool. Both amenities were very nice. The breakfast in the morning was very good too. The hotel sits on a very nice property atop a hill with beautiful views of the town. Shopping and the Mystic Seaport were very close to the hotel. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

perfect for a night or two if you're visiting in the area. rooms are clean and beds were comfortable. bathrooms and towels clean too. breakfast was great to help start the day, lots of choices. everyone was very nice, thanks!
pool looked good for a quick swim but not much if looking for something for kids. could use a little paint in halls and elevator area.

First impression of the hotel was beautiful. Great location very clean but having the manager Kate behind the counter at check in with this dimener like you are bothering her to do her job was a bug hug put off. I mean great your guests welcome them be empathetic if the room isn't quite ready give some emotion .it's the hospitality business not tge hostile-tality business.
And don't promote free wifi in the, rooms if it really doesn't work. I felt like I was back to dial up days waiting fit the clicks and pings to connect. I couldn't upload memos or my travel blog or videos. Just l9gging on was a chore and wouldn't retain information and based on other comments this isn't a new issue which shows even more lack of care towards the guests.

Based on a previous visit, we didn't hesitate to book a room again. Very comfortable place to stay.

My lamp didn't work and the a.c. leaked so carpet was wet. Maintenance man did fix the leak but carpet was still wet. Had a good breakfast. Desk people took smoke breaks together in front of the hotel, not sure if anyone was manning the desk area. Disappointed in guests who kept the luggage carts overnight in their room so when we left at 7 am we had no cart!!! 3 carts were gone all night. They did upgrade us to a Jacuzzi.

If you are purely going to this location for a place to rest/sleep it's perfect. However, even when on vacation I still need to be able to do work in the evening. The wireless internet the hotel provides is so poor that I had to end my vacation early as I was able to get nothing done. To be told they offer free internet, when what they really offers is worse then dial up, is just dishonest. I spoke with the front desk staff, who seems less then thrilled to hear about the internet again, and was told this is status-quo not a one off bad experience. Please get this corrected HI!
