A nice property for Manhattan. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room was small to be expected but clean and modern. The breakfast area is too small for volume of guests, so plan on having breakfast out if you want a nice quiet breakfast.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by stefizz Nice bed, great staff but small room and very touristy!
Overall nice experience, however: breakfast was always packed with tourists (groups), and rooms are really tiny.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by EmiG Excellent hotel
This hotel was in the perfect location for us, as frequent visitors to NY we've tried many locations previously. As the main purpose of our visit was theatre-going the short work to the majority of theatres from this hotel was perfect.
Rooms are big for New York standards, and very comfortable.
The staff here were excellent-very friendly and always happy to have or simply have a conversation which really made a difference to the stay.

The service was good here my room was nice and clean. The water pressure was okay. But I was very disappointed in the breakfast bar. Very small area and there was no place to eat for the amount of people that stay here because the breakfast is included in the room. Had to eat outside but it was raining so I did the best I could holding my plate with my coffee. Really not what I expect from an IHG hotel.
Also, only one elevator was working and we were on the top floor. We had to wait 10 minutes each time for an elevator to become available in the morning for checking out or going for breakfast. Most people just ended up taking the stairs down.
I wanted to stay in the IHG midtown and use my points and they did not have any rooms for points only full paying rooms starting at over $600/night so this was this Holiday Inn was the next closest to Times Square.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DrMikeC Good people, clean hotel but NO SLEEP
This was by far my worst hotel experience ever. We were in town to run the NYC marathon but did not have any quality sleep what so ever. The room was not dark at night and was filled with street, patio, sidewalk and hallway noises, Our trip was ruined by staying here. And no, ear plugs did not work!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by bdpetro Good room and early check in
The value as pretty good and the room was comfortable and quiet overall. But the elevators were a bit slow and the breakfast, as previously stated, unacceptable as it was always too crowded and virtually no food available. We had to go out elsewhere for breakfast, which was disappointing.
