Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Staff The staff was very friendly and easy to deal with. Traveling with a family of 5 is always a challenge and they made our stay very easy. The pool and water slide was a hit and we thoroughly enjoyed our family time in the pool area. The gym is a bit dated but served the purpose of our needs. Breakfast had something for everyone and made the start to our day a breeze and relaxing with extra sleep and no worries of looking for alternative food sources. The beds are very comfortable and rooms quiet. A cot was provided a moments notice when staff realized our family size and tight budget. For the duration of our stay they were very accommodating. They also went out of there way to provide us with a late check out when our baseball games were postponed due to a massive rain storm. This is by far some of the best treatment I have ever received while traveling with my family. June 29, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Adaquate for our purpose The hotel did not stand out as one of my most enjoyable IHG experiences. We wanted to be close to the airport and it was. Overall it was clean. As a platinum member, I was offered a complimentary bottle of water or 200 points. I guess I'm used to the US Express experience where you receive a bottle of water for each guest, also a snack and most often get an upgrade, none of which happened here. The only really big disappointment was the cleaning staff who didn't empty the garbage or clean the cups and glasses or even bother to vacuum. June 22, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Overall nice hotel Overall, a nice option for a hotel. Staff was great and friendly. Room was nice and clean. Walls are kind of thin; I could hear some guy clearly snoring. I chose a room away from the nearby train tracks. I only hear it a few times during my three day stay. Pool was very nice and great for kids with the big water slide. The jacuzzi water was hot but the jets were not working. Parking is free but there's nothing within walking distance. Shuttle service the airport is free and runs every 20 minutes. Morning breakfast was ok. It was the same stuff each day which was ok. There were several food options within a 5-10 minute drive and a Walmart near by. June 16, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location I stay here every month because of location and priority rewards. My only issue with this hotel is their terrible almost unusable WiFi. No connection from my room was available and I stood out in the hallway to download a document. Met three other guests with the same concern who suggested the lobby area which is where they go. I did a speed test from the Lobby and got .04 download speed. I hope the hotel corrects this very important issue very quickly as I can not rely on this location do conduct my business if the problem continues. The next time I go to check in I will reserve a room in a backup hotel and do a speed test before I conclude my check-in. June 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rodeo stay we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. I am not a big fan of the TV line up as there are missing a few quality channels. But the room was great. The jets on the hot tub need work. But we were able to enjoy our room at a nice cool temperatue. Windows open allowing some fesh air. Nice tubs in the hotel and nice design in our King Executive suite June 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best Edmonton airport hotel (I've stayed in most!) Good rooms, great service. Can't complain! It's a little noisy outside, but all hotels around here are. It's near the airport and right by a freight rail line. But, they give you a pair of earplugs! The fitness center leaves a lot to be desired. Other business-class tier hotels tend to have renovated, up-to-date equipment, which is not the case at this hotel. I like elliptical machines, and while many other hotels in this tier have name-brand, gym-quality equipment, this hotel is sorely lacking. June 9, 2014

I also wanted to mention the young lady who services your breakfast bar - she did a great job and was kept hopping the different folks and their requests. May 30, 2014

Room was lovely, kids loved the pool and waterslide, front desk staff were professional, friendly and very helpful with driving directions and restaurant recommendations. Our only complaint, and all four of us have the same one, is the pillows. They were worn and there was no such thing as firm and soft as embroidered on the pillow cases. Made it difficult to get comfortable. The rest of the experience was excellent and this is a very nice Holiday Inn and I have stayed in many across Ontario and Quebec, this one in Edmonton is at the top of the list. May 26, 2014

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Breakfast closed at 9:30. It would have been nice if it was available till 10:00 - 10:30 as we arrived after midnight from a late flight from Mexico. When I was unpacking, the front desk called and asked if I needed anything and I asked for extra hangers. One of the front desk staff arrived a few minutes after the call. Great Service! The reading lights over the bed were good as the ones at the Holiday Inn at the Charles de Gaulle airport! The modern minimalist furnishings were perfect for a hotel room. A friend has always stayed at HIE hotels and recommended them. This hotel was very clean, very nice decor and close to Park & Fly and Edmonton Intl. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Close To Airport We picked this hotel as it is great value and because of how close it is to the airport. The only issue we had with the hotel is that when we called for there free shuttle service. I called them 4 times at 2-3am with no answer to get there bus to pick us up. We then had to get a taxi on a flat rate of 18 dollars for the 1.8km ride to the hotel. When I brought this up to there attention on checkout they gave me the 18 dollars back no questions asked. I recommend this hotel to anyone who is traveling to and from the airport. January 3, 2014
