TV and Breakfast not so good :-( Upon arriving at the Olive Branch Holiday Inn Express, I knew the service would be good by the tender smile and the warm heart of the front desk person, Nicole. She was bright, attentive and very welcoming. I stayed a total of 3 nights and with each night she was as pleasant as the previous. I witnessed her being as courteous and kind to other customers as well so I know it was simply a part of her being. You have a real catch in Nicole. With regards to the breakfast each day, well let's say is was way less than acceptable. It was to be ready for consumption by 6 am each day. I was in the area ready for breakfast each day at 6 am but there was only cold food available. The hot food came out around 6:20 am each day, which was too late for me as I had to leave for work at that time. Also, the one day that I did get to partake in the sausage (by pushing my time), it was cold, dry and burnt to an extent. It was obvious it had been reheated from a prior day(s). One more issue I had was the TV remote. The cable box is attached to the center of the back of the TV so the remote didn't seem to work unless you held your hand just right, twisted your hair and said a few choice words. I don't know if it was because of low battery power in the remote or the fact that it was trying to pass a signal through the center of the TV and into the attached cable box in the back (probably the latter). Never-the-less, the stay was acceptable due to the friendly staff and overall comfort of the hotel. Give Nicole a raise! November 5, 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not impressed It wasn't actually your staffs complete fault, part was however goes to the web designer. The wrong pictures are up for the King executive room. We thought we would be getting a large sitting area, which would be great with friends and relatives to stop by and visit. But we didn't and so they didn't. The person that was actually in charge, that was there on Friday Oct. 24th, just tried to soothe it over, by giving us points and not trying to work with us on anything else. Now that is just bad customer service. The young miss that checked us in was so consoling and she was genuinely sorry for us. She was truly a nice person but one person can really spoil things. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not on housekeeping radar We checked in on a Thursday for a long weekend. Had a good breakfast on Friday. When we returned to the room on Friday night it had not been cleaned. I went to the desk to get clean towels and mentioned the room had not been cleaned. They apologized and gave me clean towels. As we were leaving on Saturday morning we mentioned the housekeeping to the front desk. They apologized and said they would make sure the room we was cleaned. When we returned to the room on Saturday night, it still had not been cleaned. Again I went down to the front desk for clean towels and the night manager apologized again. When we checked out on Sunday the clerk said I needed to talk to the manager. I talked to the manager on Monday and the manager made everything okay. The room was great, the food selection was good, we just didn't get the bed made or clean towels everyday. I would stay at this property again but I would make sure I was on housekeeping's radar.
