I am a Platinum IHG member. I travel for my job and always use an IHG property in the cities that I travel to. My 1st experience with this location was in June 2014. Upon arrival to the location I was told that I would not be able to get into a room until about 4:00 that afternoon. I understand that check-in can be as late as 3:00 but I have never had this problem. I informed the front desk that I had an online meeting that I needed to be on and would appreciate a room. I was told that I could setup my laptop in the dining area. The dining area had 3-4 people in it that were carrying on a loud conversation. No concern was shown for a Platinum IHG member in this situation. I was forced to cancel my reservation and select a competitor location next door for my overnight stay and online meeting.
On Jan 6, 2015 I elected to try this location once again. When I arrived I asked if I could have a room on the top floor in an effort to reduce the amount of "foot noise" that is usually heard from occupants above. My request was granted.
The room key would not work properly so I had to go back to the front desk to have both keys re-coded.
When I entered the room it sounded like a helicopter was landing on the roof. No one can sleep/rest in this environment.
I had to go back down to the front desk where I was told by the staff that she knew about the loud noise above that particular room but she still elected to put me in it. She advised that they have air units on the roof and they are making a lot of noise. Other customers have alerted the staff to the noise but the room continues to be offered to guests.
I was offered another room but it was on the 1st floor. I accepted the room.
It was very cold outside (14 degrees). The air/heater unit in the room did not heat the room well at all. I did not even bother to speak to the front desk about it.
I have stayed at many IHG locations and this was by far the worst 2 experiences I have ever had. Very disappointed.

It was cold, dreary and getting dark outside. We had been on the road since early morning and with the threat of freezing rain it was time to stop. Once inside the lobby we were greeted by a VERY neat, attractive and well spoken desk clerk. She went overboard to make us comfortable. After a few minutes in our room the phone rang and the clerk was making sure everything was good with the room.
I told her it felt as if we had run away with the circus. The room was as need as a pin and the colors and choices of furnishings was so fun!. The room could have dropped out of the sky straight from Las Vegas. Immediately we started to check out all of the fun colors and light fixtures. The oversized chair was perfect for my husband and myself to watch some Christmas TV programming.
Christmas morning we stepped in the immaculately clean dining area and were greeted by the hostess. She asked us several times if there was anything she could get us and made us feel right at home.

Great room and very quiet. Able to conduct business once I returned to the room. Internet was very stable. I really enjoyed my stay.

The front desk personnel were very helpful at check in. The bedding was very comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a wide variety of items.
I don't understand why a Friday stay runs $20 more than a Saturday stay.
