Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BB6487 a quiet and restful place, when no game at adjacent stadium
it did what it said on the tin. a place to rest for the night and meet up with friends in that part of the world.
We were glad it was not at the same time as any activity at the stadium next door, although we had a partial view from the window.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Saralita 1 Light, comfortable quiet room
I felt relaxed and at ease, and could rest comfortably. The room was warm, but I could make it warmer or cooler no problem.
There was a generous supply of tea, coffee etc.. The shower was wonderful. I had a nice view of green through my window, and a comfortable sofa from which to watch telly should I wish.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by travellingbear Good place to overnight
Although it's slightly out of the way in Oxford, this is a handy place to overnight. The rooms are clean and appear to be quite. There is a well lit car park with secure access to the hotel. The reception staff are friendly and helpful, although at breakfast they could be a little more attentive. Would prefer an electronic receipt rather than a posted receipt but nice touch. Thanks.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Levinski Most uncomfortable IHG hotel in my many loyal years of experience
Extremely poor reception.
Very poor nights sleep - owing to window locked open in the corridor next to our room No 324.
No meaningful welcome on arrival - told to wait, although ther were two people behind the desk and no other guests waiting.
In all my years as a loyal member of IHG have never received such poor treatment and loss of sleep caused by the cold draught caused by the open window in the corridor next to our room.
Promised 2000 points by duty manager for our uncomfortable night and loss of sleep - no points have appeared on my account to date - why not IHG?

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ApmSim Comfortable, clean, decent breakfast choices
Everything I expect from a chain like Holiday inn Express, clean, comfortable, quiet and a decent buffet breakfast choice.
Value for money for myself and 2 teenage children; does what it says on the tin and that's just what I expected and what I got! No nasty surprises.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by mick1933 Good value room - bed could be better
The hotel is next to the football stadium (we needed to get to the town centre but a taxi was only £10 each way). Parking is great and the hotel is good value.
My only gripe was that the bed was not very comfortable - you could feel the springs and the bed was too soft with very little support. Our friends had the same complaint (as this affected sleep it brings the score down considerably).
Otherwise the hotel is clean with good facilities and in a good location. Staff were friendly and helpful.
