It was very convenient to be able to print out my plane boarding passes on commuter station on the third floor. I would definitely stay here on my next trip to the San Francisco area. The staff were very helpful and resourceful about the area, directions, and information on the hotel. The room was very clean, with added touches by housekeeping staff (towels folded so neatly, etc.). The room was very modern, new and inviting with lots of staff, Great variety for breakfast. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to Holiday Inn Standards For three straight days, I could not find a place to sit in the crowded, tiny dining area. There was virtually no food until the single staff person tried to replenish it. There was no recognition of my platinum status. There was construction going on (painting) at the hotel and the staff made no effort to guide customers through it. The desk clerk didn't even know if we could use the hotel parking lot -- and if not, where we could park. I am used to much better service at Holiday Inns. September 18, 2014

The pancake maker is a never ending source of wonderment for my children - that alone made it worth it. Highly recommended. September 18, 2014

The rooms are all upgraded and completely renovated with modern furniture (very comfortable) and *plenty* of plugs for all your devices (really! you won't have to get down on all fours to search for free plugs). Couldn't figure out how to hook up computer to TV even though the panel under the TV had all sorts of inputs. Remote apparently is required. The only disappointing thing was the breakfast menu was unfortunately still the same. Perhaps next year an updated menu will be a nice surprise (real eggs instead of powdered ones, real maple syrup for pancakes). September 17, 2014

In the meantime, it had been completely renovated: lots of outlets, solid internet service, and a very comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautifully rennovated and comfortable rooms We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. The rooms are completely updated and we admired the thought that went into the updated room, compared with other Holiday Inn Express locations we have visited. The lighting was the best we have experienced, including LED reading lamps and lighting above the headboard. The furniture was raised from the floor, giving you more floor/storage space and the electrical/communication outlets were easily accessed in useful locations. Every member of staff was extremely helpful, friently and courteous and made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. August 9, 2014

What set this one apart was the personal touches housekeeping added to the room, such as a personal handwritten note and towel presentations. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice remodel. Comfortable bed Our stay was comfortable. Housekeeping folded our towels in beautiful forms. We looked forward to seeing our towel forms when we got back to the room. I appreciated having a morning newspaper. Breakfast was ample. The internet was very poor. The hotel is located on a busy street. It would have been nice to be greeted more invitingly as an IHG rewards club member. Considering all, the pros outweighed the cons and we are happy to recommend this hotel to future guests. July 26, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice remodel, pleasant staff but pricey Hotel was still being remodeled but remodel was not an issue at all. Our room was nicely remodeled, impressed with options to plug in technology throughout room, modern decor. Staff was very pleasant; location is okay, but difficult to get onto busy street, and not walking distance to many places. Somewhat pricey - we needed to add an additional night, and even though we did so two weeks prior, the room rate went up significantly. Location and price would limit our chances of staying there again on our next visit to the area. July 18, 2014

When we were trying to bring our luggage up on the cart provided the wheels were flat! Couldn't believe I was charged a full rate the wade through the mess. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by comfortable bed and great service i have been staying at this particular hotel since september 2012. i stay here while i am visiting my son at college. this hotel has looked great since the beginning and it is getting even better since they are remodeling it.. the staff has always been exceptionally friendly and caring since the first time i stayed here and they continue their great friendliness and service. the breakfast bar is amazing: hot eggs, different choices of breakfast meat, cereal and cold milk, orange juice and apple juice and water available and the coffee with different flavors is great, oh the cinnamon rolls are fantastic. and they do have fresh fruit and you can make your own pancakes and they have butter and jelley and fresh bread to make toast and bagels too. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Holiday Inn Express Ever This was the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in, it has no pool, is run down even though it under construction it smells terrible, do not believe the photos , hallways stink, the rooms stink, no water pressure, will never stay here or recommend this place to anyone.
