Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff Holidan Inn is my go to hotel. David, the clerk that checked us in was great. He gave directions to the local area attractions and informed us of all local establishments close to the hotel. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, but the internet was kind of slow. No big deal as we were in the area to see some of the local attractions anyway. March 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by STAFF DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING After flying for over five hours and finally getting to the hotel we checked in. The employee behind the desk seems very nice, handed us our key and we went to our room that I had made a reservation for over a week earlier. When we got to our to our room is was not even close to being cleaned. Housekeeping was right there in the hall but did not speak English so we got nowhere with her. The housekeeping super came by and found us a room on the same floor that was done and put us in there and said she would get the keys changed and bring them to us. The next thing we knew as we were unpacking two men came into the room with a key that the front desk had given them for the same room. Had to go back downstairs to get things right. Then on our last night there we went to the business room to print our tickets to fly home and the printer was out of ink. Went to the front desk like the sign said if anything was needed but was told he did not have any ink. My husband had to put our tickets onto a jump drive and have the clerk print them for us, otherwise we would have had to wait until we got to the airport and wait even longer. Also this might be a non-smoking room that we had but the smoking rooms are on the same level and the hallways smell so bad of smoke, it was almost unbearable to walk the hallway. Breakfast was another story, the food was horrible, not worth the stay because they had "free" breakfast. just remember you get what you pay for. this one is off the list. also was not told the pool was closing for a month for repairs. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Location and Friendly Stuff Overall hotel location is the key as it located right next to the highway. The stuff was friendly and greeting when arrival and manager was able to assits with my room changes. The only issue is the parking as the hotel was sold out and some truck took 2 spaces so when we get back to hotel at night there is no more parking available plus we have handicap person with us but the front desk was able to assits us. Did not locate great restaurants nearby but there were some in driving distance. The additional "suite" room was very small but worked for us since we did not have to use the pullout bed in there.
