It was so easy to stay here and catch our 6:00am flight. We did park and fly for 2.5 weeks, parking was included and the shuttle was on time! Even when we arrived back to Richmond the shuttle was right there!!! Best ontime shuttle so far...
Also, there received a snow storm just before we arrived back and a car was NOT plowed in!!!

Staff members Jerri, Amy, Torri, and Charles made my stay very comfortable, reassuring, safe, and made it known if anything was needed to let them know. I felt at home.

We checked in late and were pleasantly greated by the night clerk. We were tired, she got us to the room quickly. It was a very comfortable and clean room. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great service at the front desk with lots of information about the area and the stay and park program. The convenience was truly needed with a 5:20 AM (ugh!) flight and living 1.5 hour drive away. I will use the stay and park program again as needed. The pool is nice and relaxing and the weight room is sufficient. The business office enables one to print out tickets for your flights beforehand, but in reality the Richmond airport is not that busy and one can process ticketing, baggage check, and security in less than 30 minutes.
The con with this property are the room mattresses need replacement, especially the pull out couch.

This is a truly excellent hotel to stay. There are a lot of good things to say about the amenities -- business center, parking, indoor pool, free internet, etc. -- but the true gem of the RIC HIE is the staff. They are friendly, and seem to genuinely care about their guests. Case in point, I was in the Business Center and got a sudden cough that I couldn't seem to shake. A couple minutes into my sporadic cough attack, one of the desk staff came in to check that I was alright and gave me a bottle of water.

We loved this Holiday Inn. The room was spacious, cozy, and clean.... and the pillows and blankets were perfect. The air conditioner/heater ran well and seemed to be in like new condition. The food choices were plentiful and yummy. The heated pool was at a perfect temperature. Parking was free with plenty of space. The one thing that made this hotel so wonderful was the customer service!! For me, my experience started with Monica (my online reservation assist) she was so pleasant to work with... I hope to get her the next time I do an online chat. At the Hotel, my first encounter was with Melisa. She was wonderful. One of those kind of people you wish to bump into again. Kayte was another customer service rep. we had the honor to meet. She too was wonderful to work with. She was very personable and extremely professional. Throughout our stay we had several encounters with Charles... We loved Charles. I am not sure what he does at the hotel, but I was so impressed how he extended himself to offer us help and was there when we needed it. Upon checking out, we met with Gerry... she fit perfectly into the environment of the this Holiday inn... she was professional, personable and the kind of person you hope to meet again. Last but not least.. The kitchen help. Those ladies were great. They were always visible and extremely helpful....
To all the staff that worked on New Years Eve... Thank you for working that weekend and thank you for making our stay so memorable. We look forward to staying at your hotel again!!
