Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clean cozy room with amenities. Enjoyed the king size bed with pillow choices, nice sitting chair, toiletries and nice that they had free coffee in room tho I did not use. The breakfast was hot and had a nice selection and nice dining room. Must voice my annoyance with shuttle van driver. Was told to wait outside airline terminal near courtesy bus sign. Waited outside in cold for driver. Several other shuttle buses stopped for people. Finally I was only person standing there at about 1130pm under courtesy bus sign. I noticed a white van pull up to charter bus sign and sit there with engine running for about 4 min. It was too far for me to see the identification signage on the sign of the van. Then the driver got out and walked inside the terminal. I decided to walk up and check the van and saw that the van said Holiday Inn express on its side. When the driver returned, I asked him: "Didn't you see me standing there????? I was told to wait at the courtesy bus sign." It did not appear that he fully understood English. He responded that late at night when it is not busy, they just don't drive all the way down. I felt that this was not good customer service. Otherwise I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was nice to see one of the managers (looking professional) walk through the dining room in the morning and greet the patrons. He even appeared to know some of his recurrent customers by name. Was once accused of smoking in a non-smoking room and sent pictures of trash barrels of someone else's trash showing misc. food items that we never ate (ie. McDonalds), as well as some smoking evidence. Took more than a week going back and forth about it and finally they realized they had the wrong room #. The manager made good once they realized, but I was charged for a smoking fee that I didn't deserve and it took more than a few days to credit. Second time following that, when we were about to leave, I checked the floor in case I was forgetting something...saw a condom wrapper on the floor where the bed skirt hid it. SO DISGUSTING!!!!!! Surprisingly, I gave it a third shot, as it is the most convenient in the area...and although the room was cleaner this time, the TV options were more outdated in the room we had...no guide, there was a printout for HBO, but that HBO channel was showing "no signal" each time we went back to check it before giving up and just watching something else. One good thing is they allow late checkout to 2pm, so if you arrive late and want to sleep in or have a later flight and need to waste some time in your room, you can stay late, but the only issue with that is if you do request it as you arrived late, the housekeeping may disturb you more than once knocking (we hung the do not disturb sign, too). I think there needs to be some communication between front desk and housekeeping staff regarding rooms who request a late checkout. December 4, 2014
