Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Service was very good. If you stay at this property be warned! Do not stay on the Bay street side. The street noise is very loud at all times of the day and night. The hotel was full and relocation was not available during our stay. The staff is very understanding but, are not equipped to address some issues that arise. March 24, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Location excellent for visiting River Steet But... because of the St. Patrick's Celebration, the hotel fell down on some of its quality. We had to change rooms after the first night because they didn't have a river view room available when we arrived. We paid, in advance, in full, and having to move was an inconvenience. Only one elevator worked most of the time. With so many people, I was told they were sold out, the wait was horrible for the elevators. . March 22, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Service I booked online, wanted specifics, such as location (which is great) and relaxing atmosphere. I discovered early on I would not be getting the relaxing part at this hotel. They were remodeling, apparently using a sign or letting guests know is not part of the policy there. The main bar, lobby area was kind of blocked off, at times with plastic sheeting, other times just various equipment and construction supplies were strewn about the areas. No courteous staff in the area to apologize or direct people to other areas during congested times, (at one point I counted over 45 people in a lobby area approx. 12x25, with 5 doorways, elevators and desks.) After a long day of walking and site seeing we were all ready to relax with a cocktail and a dip in the hot tub. Well after changing and going to the rooftop (another reason I booked this hotel) we discover a FREEZING cold hot tub and pool. No heat at all! At the front desk we are treated as though we broke it. They have had no one say it wasn't working, and how could this be attitude was given to us. When we asked what they were going to do, they acted as though we were a bother. The one gal actually said, "I guess I could call maintenance, but it's really useless cause it closes in an hour anyways." I waited for her to pick up the phone and call someone or find out what else she could do, maybe upgrade our room, give a discount, something. She did nothing until I said "So are you going to call them or a manager?" When she got off the phone she told us they will fix it right away, and you can just wait in your room, I'll call you." We waited, and waited, an hour and half later we called. Well now a new person working the desk tells us they have no knowledge of the hot tub situation. So sorry but nothing we can do about it now, but suggested we go up and start it again a few times to see if it warms up. Unfortunately we did not get to use it that night. The next morning we asked and again, this person working had no knowledge of it at all. We explained it all again and were apologized to and told they would get it taken care of and that by that evening when we returned it would be ready for us. Well guess what? Nope not fixed, and again evening staff (same from previous night) was rude and made us feel bad for even asking the status of it. She offered no solutions and upsetted me so much that I just went to bed. I could also go on about the dirty breakfast area, even when not in use, the moldy bagels, etc, even tell you more bad things about the overall lack of service and cleanliness, but I am sure you get the point. The ONLY good thing I can say is the location was good if you want to be downtown, and the parking attendants were super nice. March 17, 2015
