Thank you helping me get going in the morning. If you are heading out of Seattle airport, you need to stay here. The shuttle bus (and driver(s) got me to where I needed to go at the airport. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding Service My friend and I recently visited Seattle on vacation and as always, I booked us at a Holiday Inn Express. While I have always had good experiencse at Holiday Inns, this visit by far was the best ever due to the outstanding staff. The front desk, the housekeeping staff and the shuttle drivers were all so helpful and were great at giving us directions and recommendations of places to visit. Please let your staff know how much we appreciate all the things they helped us with and we will definitely return to this hotel when we visit Seattle again. Patricia D April 18, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice stay I was pleasantly surprised - we have always stayed in one of the hotels directly across the street from the airport, and I was expecting this hotel to be located there as well, but it was about 1 block south of the airport; close, but just far enough to avoid airport noise. The room was very nice - an older hotel that has been remodeled. No noise, very quiet. The elevator was slow, but it wasn't ever a problem (and there are only 4 floors - so you can take the stairs!). Breakfast was typical HIE fare. Plenty of free parking, a shuttle to the airport. Very nice stay. April 16, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good, but wish they provided a USA Today paper like other HIE This hotel provides a local Seattle paper, which is kind of strange because the location is right next to the airport so I'm sure all the people staying at the hotel don't have any interest in a local paper and would prefer the USA Today. There is also something different about the Internet reception at this hotel. The internet reception constantly gets interupted and I get kicked out of any password protected websites. This is another thing that doesn't happen at other HIE's I've stayed at. Other than that the hotel is pretty nice and has a better breakfast than most the other HIE's I've stayed at. However, the bacon is the same as all the other HIE's - thin, chewy, tasteless and terrible. March 22, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, customer service questionable I have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express before and was very satisfied. This stay the TV remote did not work and I was told the maintenance people were off site. They did after a couple hours check the batteries and they were fine which I had already indicated they were since I tried some I had with me. At that point they told me the TV did not work and it would be the next day before they could fix it. Since my stay was one night and the next day I would be gone it really didn't satisfy the situation. Also the business center was out of printing paper and after a 10 minute wait at the desk I finally got paper to print my boarding passes. Not the service I have experienced at other HI Expresses and this one as well in previous stays. February 14, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice big room and wonderful service Shuttle picked us promptly from the airport. I was surprised to get a room with a seperate living area. We flew in late and my travel mate slept in the next morning while I was able to take my shower, make my coffee and wander around without disturbing her. My daughter came to bring my car and was allowed to join us for breakfast with the permission of the person at the front desk. I am never dissappointed staying at any HIE and this was no exception. This visit was 14 nights and we felt like we were at home. The gentleman who takes care of the breakfast is a delight; the staff is friendly and the housekeepers are professional and do a great job. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent stay We had an unexpected stay in the Seattle area the first week of February. We were unsure how long our stay would be and the front desk staff said no problem. They were very accommodating and friendly. The room was clean and the breakfast choices were fresh and hot. I didn't expect much in the way of service as we rarely have good service anywhere in the Seattle area. This entire staff was so nice ( all front desk staff, breakfast bus person, room attendant). They must have to attend training for customer service or they just hire customer focused people. I recommend this property. February 8, 2013

The breakfast service is fantastic offering a terrific selection and starting at an early time to allow guests to grab breakfast before going to the airport for early flights. The lobby is large and comfortable allowing many guests to sit in the breakfast/lounge area at the same time. My disappointment is in the access to the garage under the building. The garage has handicapped spaces though there is no easy access to either the ground floor or the elevators from the garage. There is a mini-elevator for wheelchair bound guests. But this mini-elevator does not lead to either the lobby or the main elevators. February 2, 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Sad A nice looking hotel but a very bad experience. We had to check in due to our flight being delayed due to fog. Checked in at 11pm. Got to our room and at midnight our smoke alarm began to beep. Called down and told front desk. They said they would send someone up to fix. 10 min later, got a call to say the maintence room was locked. I had to stand on a chair and remove the battery myself. Was then woken up at 8am with contruction men literally working on the window (on the outside) of our room. Banging against the wall with hammers. My wife stumbles out of bed to have a shower only to find the bathtub doesn't drain. I was not able to have a shower. Checked out and reports all the issues and received $28 of the price of my room. Will never stay there again!! January 28, 2013

The main reason I chose this hotel is that this hotel locates near to the airport and our flight is at early morning. Our trip in U.S. lasted 10 days and we stayed at more than 7 hotels. I think the beds here is the widest. The breakfast is delicious and have many choices. It is a pity that we cannot have breakfast here because it's open at 5am and we should leave at 4am in the second day. We didn't wait too long for the shuttle bus at the airport. The shuttle bus also can pick us up at lightrail station near airport which is conveniet for us to go to downtown. I saw a comment written that the shuttle bus goes to downtown. It is not true.
