Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff throughout my stay I had never stayed in your facility in Sequim. The price fit the state's perdium rate, and it was located centrally to where I worked for three days. The front desk attendant, Diane, was most friendly without being gushy. She helped identify a really good restaurant for a seafood meal, and encouraged me to come to the lobby for the 'meet and greet' with other travelers. That too was a positive experience. All staff with whom I had contact were helpful and positive. A first class experience. February 28, 2013

It's always clean and the staff is always friendly. Toni keeps inviting me for a beer at the Manager's' reception on Wednesdays. I'm going to have to change me schedule! February 21, 2013

In the summer I love enjoying my morning coffee on their roof top garden. Now there is a new restaurant next door where I can order a steak and beer. This place is heaven! December 9, 2012

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but smelly room This hotel is beautiful! It has a rooftop garden, handicap accessible pool and hot tub and they serve a standard hot breakfast in the morning. The downsides were that our room smelled terrible! It smelled like terrible mildew. I've never experienced this from a Holiday Inn Express and was a little disappointed. The pool was also very cold and the hot tub was not as hot as normal but it was okay since we used that instead of the pool. They had pool toys on hand for children and board games in the lobby. Great experience just wish the pool and room were better. November 29, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Service, Location & Scenery Hotel was very convenient to major highway / roads. It also was very close to casino if you are up for gambling. Enjoyed the pool (could have been about 5-10 degrees warmer) and the hot tub. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud it rocked.. Also every time I needed something from the front desk they were VERY attentive and quick to assist which makes all the difference in tehworld. It doesn't matter how soft the bed is if you aren't treated friendly and attentively - it ruins a trip - and all of the staff and everyone I interacted with - had a smile a willingness to help and and an answer or solution to my questions. A very good rest was located right next door - and had reasonable prices.. very much enjoyed my stay even though for work. November 21, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Syrup on the iron... ruined my dress shirt I have never submittd a review online but I had to after this experiece... I went to iron my shirt late one evening, and after I applied the iron to the shirt, it stuck to the shirt and then I looked closely to see there was a hot, sticky substance that looked like syrup stuck to the iron. My shirt was essentially ruined. I immediately called to the front desk to reort the problem. They informed me that there were no other irons available to use because the hotel was sold out. I never received any further apology or correspondence. If it weren't for the bad ironing experience, I would have loved the entire visit. By the way, the restaurant across the parking lot had horrible service. After waiting 20 minutes to be seated, we waited one hour and 15 minutes before our food was served... just a joke. For some reason, it made me think less positive thoughts of the hotel. Too bad, really... the hotel was beautiful. November 20, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great home base for family vacations on the peninsula We came for a fall weekend away with the kids (6 & 7) and had a terrific time! Everything at the HI Express is still new and fresh and clean. The staff was welcoming, courteous and working towards continuous improvement (noticed this at breakfast - they were reorganizing the coffee area for efficiency). Tons of breakfast options; never any line. Pool and hot tub were AWESOME - we were in there about 8 times in 3 days. Restaurant options include Black Bear Diner across the parking lot (I don't think there's a meal there less than 2000 calories, but the food is good and the prices can't be beat!), and we found a great asian fusion place about 1/2 mile away - 'Ha Long Bay' I think - that was big-city-gourmet delicious (big portions, though not so big as Black Bear). We chose the HI Express because of (1) pool, (2) breakfast, and (3) proximity to rainforest, ocean and Hurricane Ridge. It did not disappoint. Next time we're going to bring our bikes so we can bike the Olympic Discovery trail. November 17, 2012
