Good place to stay, only negative was a plastic water bottle that was left in the room from a previous guest.

We were more than pleasantly surprised to stay at this facility.
Had a blast - visiting Louisville for Dawn at the Downs/ Kentucky Oaks / Kentucky Derby. Good restaurant recommendations; also a great recommendation = "you have to get a pink tie for the Oaks"... I did....
The staff - above all - were accommodating, friendly, and most of all, upbeat. They got me to relax and that led to enjoyment of the best vacation I've had in years.
Again - thanks. We may see you again in 2016!

Your general manager, Carol, is excellent!!
She went out of her way to make sure everything was done to our liking. We were in Shelbyville for the Kentucky Derby, never had been before, she made our stay and experience very special.
Great Job Carol.......And All Her Staff!!!

We enjoyed the room and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good. We would prefer an indoor pool. Also, it would be helpful if the clocks in the room were synchronized. (It caused a few scary moments before we realized 1 clock was correct, one was an hour off.)

Contrary to other reviews about Holiday Inn Express in Shelbyville KY, I found the staff very friendly, the room I stayed in was great, and are no different from other Holiday Inn Express I stayed at.

Carol was very helpful. I would like to thank her for her extra effort to make our stay a great experience.
My wife suggested that an addition of a non sugar coated breakfast cereal would be appreciated .

Very disappointed. Employers really need training. Please provide tooth paste in vendor machine at least, this is the first time i need to get out of hotel to buy tooth paste.
