Everything was excellent except:
The room smelt as if it had been previously occupied by a smoker and deodorised.
The open double glazing and uncomfortably cold temperature in the room seemed to confirm this.

first time i have stayed at a hotel near heathrow. it was an excellent choice. was concerned about noise, but none. inclusive breakfast was lovely and heathrow shuttle bus on time.
only one gripe, the coffee in the packets in the bedroom was horrible. this may save money but lets go back to filter coffee

I was surprised nicely that the receptionist had no difficulty to pronounce my last name :) She was very friendly and showed desire to assist me - anticipated me by saying how I can go to the airport early in the morning.
The room was clean and big, maybe my first time in hotel in UK when I'm not feeling like cat in a box :) I had everything needed for my one night stay, even my favorite TV series on TV :) The light, the curtains and the coach made me feel like home and to be honest I was pretty unhappy I had to leave on the other day.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The upgraded Executive Room was good sized and comfortable.
I was surprised to realise that this hotel is across the dual carriageway from the runway, as the soundproofing obviously was so good, that I never noticed it in the room.
Take the free Shuttle Bus U3 from the Heathrow Central Bus Station next to Terminal 1, 2 and 3 to and from the hotel.
Buses pick up 50 meters/yards from hotel, however to return to the hotel you just get off at a bus stop across the dual carriageway.
Picadelly Underground train takes you from Heathrow to Central London in 45 Minutes at a price of GBP. 5.50 one way.

I stay here rather often and it seems the service and efforts made by all the staff just keep getting better with each visit. This good service extends from the front desk through to the housekeeping staff and restaurant staff. Courteous and efficient and the rooms are of good quality and quiet.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel, and we were there for 3 nights. The front desk was very knowledgeable and welcoming and answered every question we had, including tips for restaurants within walking distance, as well as metro, bus and taxi prices. The wait staff in the restaurant were very personable, and the food quite good. This is an extremely quiet hotel for being so close to the airport. We even booked a 3-hour private towncar tour of London through the hotel, and we really enjoyed every minute. We were picked up and dropped off at the front door, and it couldn't have been more convenient, since we didn't have a car. We will definitely stay at this property again on another trip.

As the title says, this is one of the best Holiday Inns I've stayed at. Upon arrival, my expectations weren't too high. The building was very '1960s tower block' and looked a bit miserable. Having found the entrance (it takes a while to find, especially coming from Wembley Stadium station!), I checked in at the hotel, and from there onwards, everything was fantastic. Throughout my one night at the hotel, between check in and check out, every member of staff I came into contact with was trained to perfection. The management of this hotel are clearly doing a fantastic job at recruitment & training, as this was with no doubt the best staff crew I've ever been served by at a hotel. They were all polite, friendly, helpful and respectful. I was welcomed by the check-in lady as a platinum IHG Rewards member, and offered a complimentary drink or points bonus as usual. I was also given a pre-printed letter from the hotel management. They have made the effort of preparing welcome letters for platinum members, giving them a welcome to the hotel, showing current points balance as well as outlining the platinum benefits at the hotel. This was the first time I've ever had this at a holiday inn. My room was on the 10th floor, an executive room I believe, and it was clearly refurbished in the past few years as it was a beautiful room (photo attached). The view over London was also fantastic, just a shame I could only see it at night. The dinner was in the form of a buffet. Don't let that put you off though; the food is of an extremely high standard. Even better was the service in the restaurant. Staff were extremely attentive but not intrusive. When I got up to get my next course from the buffet, I would return and my table would have been cleared of the previous course. Staff were there if I needed them, but not intrusive at all. Just a pleasant 'How's your meal, sir?' from a man whom I assume was the restaurant manager. I had a very good night's sleep, the bedding was excellent quality and very comfortable. I awoke in the morning to my scheduled wake-up call, precisely on time, and opened my door to find a complimentary copy of the 'i' newspaper waiting outside my room. With complimentary water & chocolates in the room, as well as a chargeable minibar and room service, there was plenty available for drinks and snacks. There were also bathrobes, slippers and luxury toiletries, as well as a rain-style shower in the en-suite, which was very nice. Overall I really enjoyed staying here, and wouldn't hesitate to return. I believe it is a franchised Holiday Inn (as most are), but the management of it clearly have an outstanding perception of customer service - the efficiency and helpfulness of everything during my stay was exceptional; this place definitely deserves more recognition since perfecting customer service like they do is a very fine art. If I had to give one downside, it would be that breakfast only starts at 0630 - I'd have liked to be able to leave earlier than I did, as I had to get into central, and have breakfast shortly after 0600, but this was only a minor issue, and probably won't affect most people who I'd imagine are here for wembley stadium/arena.

Room is below average of what I am used with Holiday Inn. Size of room is more comparable to Express HI.

Ideal for a stopover before an early flight, with regular shuttles (4.50 GBP have change ready) from outside the door. Staff were friendly, very efficient and helpful.
The tea making facilities, which included hot chocolate and biscuits, were very welcome for a late night arrival and early departure.

I spent a night at this hotel ahead of a flight out the next morning. The staff was helpful at check-in and making arrangements for the "Hoppa" shuttle service was easy with the self-service kiosk in the lobby. It was 4 pounds one-way for a trip to the terminal. Shuttles arrived every half-hour, but make sure you get on the right bus to your terminal. The arrivals alternate every 15 minutes. I left out of Terminal 4 and it was a good 25-30 minute shuttle ride so plan accordingly.
The room was very nice and clean. I was facing the road, but heard no road noise and no airport noise. There are 3 Holiday Inns in the immediate Heathrow area and I had stayed at the M4, Jct. 4 location previously. I think both were very good and very similar in value and room cleanliness.

I stayed one night whilst waiting to catch an early flight. I am a Platinum Elite member and was truely treated as one with a very helpful receptionist advising me and ensuring my stay was as comfortble as possible including an upgrade. I booked breakfast at checkin on the advice of the receptionist which saved me £6 and was extremely impressed with the quality and choice of the English breakfast. Thankyou very much and I wil certainly stay there again in the future.

Our room was clean and comfortable. However, it lacked a hair dryer and the towels were not clean. Also the room was not ready in time and we had to wait in the lounge.
We ordered some snacks (sandwiches) in the bar. The order took over 40 minutes to arrive. The sandwiches were basic e.g. cheap ham slices on dry sliced bread, and were seriously overpriced.
We expected far more of this hotel and feel unable to recommend it to others.

.............. although a little difficult to find! We made a last minute booking because of the St Jude storm and had a very comfortable night in a clean and comfortable room. Room service meal in the evening was fine as was breakfast the following morning. Reception staff helpful and the taxi booking service was efficient. Would certainly stay again if in a similar position although living an hour from Heathrow it is not usually neccessary!

Spending the night here on the way home from Rome. Unfortunately, still don't know where our gate-checked bags spent the night, with the items we knew we would need for the short stay. When we asked the young lady that checked us in about any toothbrushes and toothpaste, she said she would get us some and bring to our room. We found out later that they were bought from the hotel's vending machine, since there is no gift shop. Cost was 8.50 pounds. They didn't have to do this - they just wanted to help make our stay better! Mission accomplished!!

This was my third stay at this hotel and I have not been disappointed yet. Check in was efficient and friendly. My key did not work at first and I returned to the reception desk. This was sorted and the friendly receptionist came with me to make sure it worked. As a gold Elite I received a free drink in the bar where I also had my favourite Chicken Tikka Masala. I looked forward to this. The hotel was its usual clean and tidy self. The only thing that they could do was perhaps clean some of the tiles and shower head from scale and mould (age). Loved the room and it was quiet although across from the airport. Extra large towels, flannels and toiletries in my room. Wifi worked well.The staff were in costume for Halloween and the restaurant was also decorated with the theme. Everyone was in good "spirits". I look forward to my next visit in January. I would recommend this hotel. There is a shuttle bus to all terminals every 20 minutes or so. Costs £4 from machine at the moment and I believe a taxi for two may work out the same or slightly more. Excellent.

We usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express but decided to stay here for easy airport access. Really great to have the restaurant & bar in the hotel. The service & food was excellent. Also, it's the last stop on the Hoppa schedule so less time needed to get to the airport.

We are in London about 2 times a year and usually always stay at your hotel. The value for the money is about the best in London since the hotels in the center of London are extremely expensive.
However, your new menu in the bar is not to our liking. About two years ago, you had a great menu. The new one is not to our taste. You used to have spaghetti and you had fish and chips which we think the English are known for. You don't have either now which we think is a big mistake.

Reception staff were very efficient and helpful.
Had problems in the carpark but reception sorted it out quickly, not like your average NCP etc.
Room was as you would expect from IHG, clean and tidy with good furniture. Sleep is always difficult in a strange place on the first night - different smells, noises etc, but managed to get a good night. Fellow guests thoughtfull in their movements.
Early breakfast saw only a couple of staff so getting tea, coffee etc slow, though great that it started at 0600hrs for the early departure crowd.
I have stayed at 2 of the 3 Holiday Inn hotels at Heathrow and this one is the better so far. Perhaps the next one will be better!
Still my favoured hotel chain.

Ideal large airport hotel with easy access to Heathrow Terminals. Very clean and well run. Good bar food served up to 11.00 p.m. and bar open until 2.00 a.m.. Very handy as arrived mid to late evening. Be aware that car park is an extra £12.00 but that is common to most airport hotels. Very good service, I have already recommended Holiday Inn M4 and will certainly use in again. Many thanks all the staff at Holiday Inn!

Breakfast was great! We really enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast. The room was comfortable, if a little small. It was also a lonnnng way from the lobby. The staff was veery helpful and friendly. We stayed one night in transit from London and the countryside. We usually stay at another hotel near LHR, but this will be our new go-to hotel because of the breakfast.

The elevators were out of service when we checked in. Then I was told wireless internet was free. Then I was asked if I wanted breakfast and I said yes. Later that night I realized I wouldn't have time to have breakfast because my flight was leaving earlier than I thought. I was told the breakfast voucher was not refundable which is ridiculous. That night I logged onto the wireless internet for work purposes and after 30 minutes was kicked off and the home page told me I had to pay after the first 30 minutes. Why did the clerk fail to inform me of that detail? This hotel was not cheap and I expected free wireless throughout the entire stay as well as a refund for the breakfast. I would not stay there again due to my poor experience.
