Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely Clean, Fresh, New Very nice room--large size (not cramped in it), clean ,no musty or old smells, comfortable beds & bedding, nice size refrigerator that worked well, microwave, nice flat screen TV, nice furniture. Bright hallways with cool carpeting that was clean. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. N ice pool outside. We stayed overnight as a stop on a trip. I would recommend this hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff and comfortable rooms This was our first trip to this area of Virginia, and this hotel was fantastic. Our family stayed for a total of 5 days Rooms were quiet and comfortable. We had a nice pool view. Every staff member was kind and acommadating. We will definitely stay here again on any future trips to the area. June 17, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stay Over HIE Suffolk is always a great place for our cycling team to stay over for the annual Tour De Cure cycling event---great location (only a mile from the event start & finish line), wonderful accommodations, great staff support...As long as the TDC is held in Suffolk, our team will be staying here! The room has always been clean and comfortable and the cookies in the evening are a nice touch. This past stay, April 6, there was only one baggage cart to be found which is an inconvenience when traveling with children. For the size of this property, more than one cart is needed. In addition, we booked a room for four people, yet we had only three towels. The shower heads should be replaced also. You get only a fine spray or a weak stream. April 12, 2013

They are very attentive to priority club members and always have cookies available in the evenings, always a nice touch when returning from work. The rooms are always clean and the temprature control is always functionaly. The morning breakfast is nice nd tey make it available for contractors before the posted "open" times,which is very nice for people thatneed to be at work before 6:30am. The staf is friendly enough, however I have stayed at different Hoiday Inns were the staff was much better. Overall it is very comfortable property and a pleasent stay. December 12, 2012

Employees were all friendly and helpful and the room was clean and nicely maintained as was the hotel and the grounds. Would definitely stay at this property again. October 25, 2012
