Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Better Options Elsewhere There are too many hotel options in the Suffolk area to limit yourself to choosing this hotel. The rooms are dated - even though there was an attempt at a refresh at some point. The front desk staff are not adept at providing customer service beyond pleasantly greeting guests. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful staff but VERY noisy hotel room. The hotel staff was professional, courteous, and attentive at all times. The rooms were clean. The noise level at the hotel was terrible. We could hear EVERYTHING in the neighboring rooms and the hallway including people's private conversations, snoring, and which TV shows they were watching. The same was true for the hallway outside our rooms. As a result, falling asleep was incredibly difficult. My wife and I left the bathroom fan running all night and downloaded a noise-making app to drown out all the noise from outside our room. December 18, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean Hotel, Convenient Location This hotel was clean and conveniently located to restaurants and other businesses (within walking distance of Ruby Tuesdays, Subway, 7-11, and a few other places). Unfortunately, during our two day stay, our room wasn't cleaned and no explanation or apology was offered. We also weren't able to control the temperature of our room and despite it being cold outside, it was uncomfortably hot in our hotel room. December 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 Usually love HIE experience, but not this one I am a huge fan of Holiday Inn Express hotels. Unfortunately, this one was a disappointment. The hotel is clean and comfortable - the most important features. However, what was less than impressive was that I chose to stay for two nights and my hotel room wasn't cleaned at all during my stay. After arriving back at my hotel room at 9:30 p.m. on Day 2 of my stay and realizing that my hotel room hadn't been cleaned, I made a trip to the front desk to explain the situation and request clean towels. At a minimum, I expected an apology or explanation. I received neither. Upon hearing that my room hadn't been cleaned, the receptionist replied that she would "write a note." I have no idea how this would be at all helpful to me. I retrieved new towels and coffee and headed back to my room. Again, no apology (or explanation) was received. This is not the customer service that I'm used to at Holiday Inn's. Disappointing. December 15, 2014

Clean facility, friendly front desk folks but absolutely no recognition of my platinum status (not even a thanks for being a Priority Club member). Pretty surprising and very disappointing. Almost every IHG hotel I stay in offers a perk for platinum level members. December 9, 2014
