Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Beware of DOUBLE and TRIPLE charges!!! Beware if you booked this hotel on any website that you paid in full to begin with. I gave them my credit card like I would at any hotel. However, I paid in full before arriving. The day I left I received a receipt and did not realize until I left the hotel my card was charged for the room AGAIN. I called the day after to speak to someone regarding this. I was told it was being taken care of and I could expect the money back in my account in a few business days. A few days later I saw a charge AGAIN pending on my account. I called for a SECOND time. This time the person told me it shows the amount was credited and because it is still pending to wait until the transaction processes. I said this is not a pending credit to my account, this ANOTHER pending charge but I agreed to wait until it processed. One day later, of course, it was yet ANOTHER charge. I have now been charged 3 times for my stay. I called on 1/11 for a THIRD time and asked for a manager. I was told a manager was not available. The person took all of my information and insisted it will be taken care of as soon as the manager walks in the door. Today is the 15th, I called a FOURTH time and finally was able to speak with the GM Lisa. Lisa said she saw in the computer what was done and she would take care of all of it. Considering this is the GM, I am confident this will FINALLY be taken care of. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years. At my hotel, a person would never have to call FOUR times to get something like this taken care of. Most people do not have extra money just sitting in their bank accounts in order to be charged 3 different times for the same room. This entire situation is beyond unacceptable and I will be afraid to stay with Holiday Inn Express from this point forward which is a shame because I was a fan of the hotel otherwise. Service is good but staff is way busy since the hotel does have a lot of foot traffic. Kinda surprised that as a Platinum member, I did not get any welcome bags etc like the gold and club members.
