We were pleasantly greeted at the front desk and checked in quickly. Room was clean and housekeeping staff very friendly. Breakfast was wonderful with a broad variety of breakfast items to choose from. Kitchen staff were friendly and kept breakfast items well stocked. Great room area offered coffee and tea assortments for after hours. Nice location.

Staff at this Holiday inn Express was attentive and friendly during our two night stay. Quick check in and check out. The King Executive room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the quaint downtown area of Three Rivers with its shops and restaurants, as well as the walking trail along the river at one of the city parks. We needed a quiet, relaxing get-a-way, and that's just what we got.

I am a Quality Project Manager in Customer Support for the Automotive Industry and understand the need to keep my Customers (GM, Ford, Chrysler, etc) Happy! So, who keeps me happy when I've had a rough week? Holiday Inn Express in Three Rivers, MI does! OK, so this sounds like a promo video. Let me explain. I stay here every 4-6 wks for a couple of days at a time. I arrived this time w/o a reservation and needed 3 nights. They were able to get me a room for the night and then had my "preferred" Business Suite, for the next two nights. They offered to move my things to the 2nd room while I was away working but, I chose to do it myself. Oops! I forgot my 6 pack beverage in the fridge. Too late - Housekeeping had already disposed of it. My bad - No problem. I arrived back at my room later that night and my drink of choice had been replaced at no extra charge! Making sure I have, not only, what I need (a room# but, also what I want #my drink), even when I was at fault, is customer service at it's best! True customer service is paying attention to the details and doing the little extras which, typically costs very little but pays huge dividends. Way to go Staff!

Seemingly at midnight every day you have to reenter the WiFi password into the browser. This is extremely annoying and should be set once for your entire stay.

I stayed in this hotel on a business trip because of it's proximity to the plant I was visiting. The hotel is in desperate need of a remodel. I was giving a handicapped room even though I didn't need it. Hopefully somebody who may have needed one didn't go without. It was dirty and dingy. The shower did not even have a drain cover so you had to be careful not to step into an open hole. The showerhead was also broken and laid on the floor. You had to hold the shower head to get water on your body. The carpeting is dirty and the furniture is broken and worn out. The Wi-Fi was strong and the A/C works good but those are the only two things. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. You would be better off staying in Kalamazoo and making the drive into the area.
