Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend getaway We stayed here one night on IHG points. Very nice upgraded room with sofa and kitchenette. Room was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool in the evening, which we typically do not use, but was so inviting we used it after dinner. Breakfast was the standard HIE fare, decent and plentiful. Check in was quick and easy. Only complaint is the bed was really close to the window -- like about a foot -- which was not my typical experience with HIE properties. The light coming in under the window shades was really bright in the morning and being so close to the bed, it was a bit jolting. Also the heat/air conditioning unit was also on that side of the bed, so it was super close as well. We didn't have any temperature control issues, but some people may not like the heat/air being inches away from the bed. Overall we had a very nice stay and will probably use this property again! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend getaway. This was a last minute weekend getaway. A little out of the way. I used points for this stay. When I went to check out I had no newspaper or express check out. Went down to desk to check out and to get a receipt was told since I used points that it was a $0 balance. But still I wanted one. Was told no again. Well I am sorry if I would like a receipt no matter what. January 20, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor accommodations The hotel was noisy We had people above us who were, it sounded like, chasing elephants. We asked to be moved to the top floor. The desk clerk did not want to be inconvenienced. The noise continued throughout the night. The next morning, we complained again to the desk clerk and were told, there was a Doctor above you. Our money spends as well as a doctor's. There was no offer of a refund. The clerk finally indicated that points would be added to our IHG account. We have stayed at Holiday Inn Express locations as a first choice in the past. With this kind of experience, we will reconsider where we stay in the future. January 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not what you expect at Holiday Inn Express My wife and I travel a lot for our business. I like to stay at HIE because of the standard they have established. Therefore, we were very disappointed on this stay. One of the queen beds had the mattress on unfinished 2X6 boards which the bed skirt did not cover. There was dust around the room and behind the furniture. We were late (8:30-9 am) to breakfast one morning, the biscuits were hard and rolls were hard around the sides. Our stay was for 3 nights and I had made reservations in advance for a certain price. However, when we checked out the charges were more than expected. I asked the man at the desk about the difference. He seemed unconcerned, replied that their prices changed daily and it was what it was. The only good thing I have to say about this place is, "there's a very good Bar B Que place across the parking lot. January 6, 2015
