We have stayed here MANY times and will return but there are a few things I need to comment upon.
I realize we were there over a holiday but to return to our room at the end of a long day to NO room service, especially no clean bathroom linens was a big disappointment.
One of our nights there we were awakened by very loud talking (very loud!) outside our window. The manager or owner was talking on the phone under the drive through in the front, having an argument, for about an hour. It woke us and kept us awake for about one hour. I am assuming it was him (the manager/owner) because he was lurking around during our visit in the office and lobby area as well as outside smoking....which by the way caused smoke smells in the lobby and at the desk...maybe he was smoking inside as well?

The room we were given had no hot water at the shower. The lavatory water was hot. The TV cable was non-functioning. The video and audio would play for 15-20 seconds and would then freeze with a "no signal" message.
We were given another room. It was an upgrade but that didn't compensate for the inconvenience of derssing (after a cold shower), repacking, and moving.
The staff were pleasant and helpful but the over-all experience was not acceptable.

We were so exhausted and we got to the hotel late because of traveling all day. we got to the hotel and the employee behind the counter was very nice, but the hotel smelled. It smelled bad, and it looked the same way also. It really smelled and looked old. We were so uncomfortable because the beds were so bad that we barely slept all night. We didn't leave because it was so late, and we didn't know the area. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. this is the second bad holiday inn express in Ohio during the same trip. it makes you question the brand.

Front desk clerk was very friendly and did a great job informing us of the services offered by the hotel. Found the room to be very old and mattresses worn out. You felt like you were being tilted to the center of the bed. Room was very clean. Desk area small. Great place to stay if you can sleep on anything.

Nice place to stay. Clean and professional. No USB charger in the room but the free WIFI was good. The breakfast and coffee were nice too. I'd stay again.

I recently stayed here on business. We had a beautiful stay! I typically do not choose to stay at Holiday Inns, but this one is a gem. The lobby is inviting and has the appearance of a country inn. The staff was very friendly and the rooms clean. The pool was warm and the breakfast well stocked. Stayed during a sold-out night but very quiet. Even enjoyed watching deer out the window at dusk. Plenty of great places to explore while there.

Compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels, this one has a very cramped breakfast area. Tables are very close to the food counters, which doesn't leave much room for the people trying to get food. Also, kind of pricey for an "Express", probably because there are not many hotel choices in the area.

I have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express properties and really like the new decor, and have always found the staff to be nice. The staff at the Cleveland-Vermillion property were especially nice. Unfortunately, the beds are very uncomfortable - and that is the most important element.
