Comfortable, modern rooms. I liked the extra electrical outlets and other small amenities. The front desk staff was especially helpful and friendly.

Great service. Excellent food on Sunday. my pick as one of the three best in the country. I have stayed at hundreds and you can not beat the value and service.

Everyone I came into contact with at this hotel was polite, helpful and completely accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was trying to find the ice machine which was on a different floor. Breakfast was plentiful and the dining room quite nice.

This 2 story lodge hotel with a beautiful lobby, pool and hot tub was a wonderful surprise to myself and wife last week. All the Express hotels we have stayed at does not compare to the one in WalnutCreek, Ca.
It is close by to all the shopping malls and fine restaurants,
It was the first time we didn't even venture in to San Francisco.
Staff was wonderful. Buffet breakfasts were diffferent each day.And the BBQ the hotel through was much appriciated.

My remote for the tv stopped working. I took it to the front desk and they replaced the batteries as suspected. NO other problems. good location.

We stayed 5 nights at his hotel, bed was comfortable, room was so quiet we didn't even hear one other guest. Definitely recommend it - great access to major roads.

We appreciated the extra consideration your staff displayed for my husband who recently has had to use a walker and a wheelchair . They assisted us with our luggage, offered to store the wheelchair, and assisted with doors, etc.
The beds were comfortable, and the public areas were relaxing, and well maintained.
As our daughter's home has over twenty stairs to access the living area, we will be returning to your hotel frequently while my husband is recovering from his knee surgeries.

Nice, good-sized room but there were no luggage stands. It would have been nice not to have to bend over to get into the suitcases on the floor. The air conditioning was noisy, and it would have been nice to have a refrigerator. The staff couldn't have been nicer. It's our go-to motel in Walnut Creek.

It wasn't as nice as the Holiday Inn Express in Pacifica (a hidden gem!), and, as usual, didn't have enough electrical outlets for charging our devices, but on the whole it was a good place, well worth the price and certainly conveniently located. There were restaurants nearby, 680 was right there, the bed was comfortable, the shower was good and it was very clean. The staff was very nice which always goes a long way towards making up for minor deficiencies.

I've stayed in hotels all over the world, and the Holiday Inn Express Walnut Creek likely has the nicest and most accommodating staff to be found anywhere on the globe. From the front desk staff to housekeeping and engineering and foodservice, they all go out of their way to make the guests feel like family. Management is very involved and present throughout the hotel, often greeting the guests by name. If you return to this hotel at a later date, they remember you and your preferences. Very clean and the property is conveniently located to restaurants, bike and jogging trails and area attractions.

My wife and I stay here four or five times a year. We have never had a bad experience. The staff is helpful and friendly. My wife has back problem and can sleep well in their beds.

The room smelled of cigarettes. Maid sprayed something to mask the smell. The layout was bizarre. The pool was murky. I was woken up at 3am by a loud cigarette session in the courtyard. The room was big, though, and the beds comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We were pleased with our stay last year and chose to return for another stay. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast has a variety of choices and the coffee is good. Parking is not a problem.

We have stayed at this Holiday Inn Express (even before it was an Express) many, many times in the past ten plus years. The staff is exceptional, the atmosphere warm and friendly. The room is clean and comfortable and the location couldn"t be better. We enjoy the breakfast and the restaurant staff is outstanding. It feels like home every time we visit.

My wife and I stayed one night at this location as we were moving from California to Nevada. The room size was not what were are accustomed to for the price. The room was much smaller than the typical name brand hotels. The bathroom was especially small hard for two people to move around in it. The bed was just so so and there was only one other chair in the room.
The lobby area was scenic but noisy. Breakfast was nothing special. This location has received several awards for being a nice hotel but for us it was over priced for what was provided.

I was in the area on business and was working several days of 3rd shift work. I passed this bit of info on to the hotel staff. They accomodated my schedule and went as far as locating me in a lesser occupied section of the hotel. I was able to sleep undisturbed. Well worth the price of admission. I would opt to stay here whenever in the Walnut Creek area.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is a good location for our travel needs. We have always had a great travel experience when staying here. This trip was no exception. They keep refurbishing and improving little details that keep it fresh and appealing. And the staff is excellent! Always willing to go the extra mile if you need something. I particularly want to mention Luis, who has been there a long time and brings a level of professionalism which simply enhances the already amazing staff.

I have stayed here many times and have always been very satisfied. This last time I had to ask for a room change due to noisy honeymooners in the next room and they moved us to an even better room. The breakfast selection is fabulous. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous!

They were not friendly or engaging. When asking for anything
They were indifferent and felt that we bothered them

I travel frequently to Walnut Creek for family events. I love this hotel because it is conveniently located and the value for my needs is by far EXCELLENT! The staff are always very helpful and know many things about the area because they care and live in and around the area. I was lost recently, while taking an alternate route to get to the hotel from another location in the north, and the woman who answered the phone knew exactly where I was and she told me exactly where to head so that I could get back on track to the hotel. When I arrived, she had a COLD bottle of water waiting for me. I have stayed at other more luxury hotels, for higher rates, and NEVER received this sort of attention, appreciation and courtesy. THANKS Holiday Inn Express, Walnut Creek. I ONLY stay here now.
