The rooms on the upper floors are newer and very comfortable whereas the bottom floor rooms and hallway had a weird smell. They kept me on the upper level though and I was very pleased and would positively return. The staff was amazing. May 23, 2016

At check-in, they made a point of showing us where the Breakfast Room (LOVE the pancake machine!) and the 24-hr. store were located. Our room was somewhat small, but it was fine for our one-night stay. The room had a midi-fridge, but I was disappointed that, for its size, there was no freezer unit in it. Also, the shower head worked only on the outside ring of water outlets; the inside ring just dribbled water down. To rinse, I had to keep moving back and forth. It was nice having the coffee-maker in the room, and the microwave was also handy--I've got to have my cuppa! Being in the Concord-Lexington area, my husband and I would have stayed on another day if the weather had been better. May 9, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service As a Spire member I thought asking for late checkout would not be an issue especially since hotel was quite empty that day. The front desk person made sure that I felt like two cents for asking. When I challenged his he responded by saying " I did not say no I was bargaining" Really! I don't bargain when I book. By the time the manager handled this I had made arrangements for another hotel to make my conference call. Poor poor service! May 2, 2016
