We had to let our clothes in the luggages due to lack of space

Free Wifi and newspaper in the lobby
Easy acces to Harry Potter studios
Easy access to central London (and much cheaper than staying in the city)
If you can live with the hereabove mentionned drawbacks, I recommend this hotel.

Arrived early and found our room was ready. The reception staff were very inviting and friendly. Room was spotless and well equipped and beds were very comfy. We opted for a smoking room but there was no smell of smoke. Well done the cleaners. The breakfast was great with good food and plenty to choose from. We would definitely stay there again.

Despite registering my need for gluten free food when I booked, no effort was made to provide a reasonable breakfast. My choice of cold food was limited to tinned grapefruit / oranges and yoghurt; the hot food choice was limited to scrambled eggs and beans. This is wholly unsatisfactory and way below the standards of competitor chains.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious, clean and well enough equipped; bathroom was spotless with lovely soap! Room was at the back so noise from trains could be heard and felt but didn't affect sleep. Some noise from other guests could be heard. Breakfast buffet was really good and never ran out (chocolatte and chocolate muffins were amazing!). Didn't have much contact with staff however they were efficient and polite during check-in. Would recommend and would stay again, great for the money especially so close to London.

My boyfriend and I stayed her for 1 night and rated it very highly.
We went to the Harry Potter studio tour and this hotel was very conveniently located.
Transport-wise, we got the train to Watford Junction and the hotel was just round the corner (1 minute walk).
For the Harry Potter studio tour, the buses left frequently from outside the train station, so again, walking distance from the hotel.
The hotel was clean and well presented.
The hotel room was very comfortable with a comfortable bed and pillows to choose from "soft or hard" - this was a nice touch.
The bathroom was a good size with good lighting and a big mirror (good for the girls!)
We liked the fact the toilet could be sectioned off from the main bathroom, so one person could use the toilet whilst the other person could still use the bathroom.
Had a very good nights sleep.
There was a lighting option for the bathroom which i would describe as a low light "blue light". This was great when using the bathroom in the middle of the night, as it was a very low lighting and not a bright light!
The breakfast was good, especially as this was included in the price. They offered fruit, yoghurt, cereals, juices, tea / coffee etc. Toast / croissants / rolls / chocolate muffins baked beans / saussages / bacon / scrambled egg.
Would have been nice if there was a veggie saussage option or some cooked tomatoes, but still very good.
The location of the hotel was very close to the main high street which was great to go out to dinner, nice restaurants. I would highly recommend Rabbani Indian restaurant (we decided to go here due to good reviews on trip advisor) good, service and atmosphere was great!

Although this property is a little difficult to get to, it is worth it. The property is fairly new with all the amenities... free wifi in the lobby, great breakfast, comfortable rooms and of course a friendly staff.

the hotel was perfect for our trip to harry potter studio tour and a couple of days into london, situated right next to watford junction, a short walk and a 15 min train journey and your in london, be sure to buy your train ticket and tube tickets from the station for a hefty discount, the room was serviced daily and was always spotless, the reception staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was a great start to the day, i cannot recommend this hotel enough to avoid paying inflated london hotel prices without breakfast included. thank you to all the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one, i hope to return again for our next trip into london

Arrived very early in the morning,way before check in time,and found the room was ready for us. Amazing friendly check in staff on the desk who provided us with all the info we needed for our stay.Nice clean room on 3rd floor was just what we needed for a relaxing night after a hectic day in the city.
Reasonable bar prices too :)
Will be staying here again for our next visit !

Apart from the trains racing by every few minutes, the local station is being developed during the nights, so the constant drilling and banging from the work men kept me up all night. There is no mention of the work being carried out on the Holiday Inn website. I mistakenly booked a smoking room and when I asked if I could change I was told that the hotel was fully booked, however, the Holiday Inn Website was clearly showing non smoking rooms as being availiable. The parking facilities are poor and not 'woman friendly'. Overall this has to be one of the worst hotels I have stayed in.

I booked two rooms with the points I had collected. Purpose was a visit to Harry Potter studios.
Upon arrival all parking spaces were taken but the staff was very kind and helpful to offer an alternative.
My Satnav didn't accept the new Harry Potter postal code and the staff offered a tailor made plan to drive up there.

In every way possible this hotel is great. Extremely well positioned for bus and train connections (including Heathrow and Euston Station), The mega-beautiful Harlequin Shopping Centre and The Making of Harry Potter Studio Tour. The hotel staff are helpful, friendly and very efficient. This was my third stay and I am looking forward to the next one.

We stayed here as we were visiting the Harry Potter Studios, excellent location, right next to the train station if needed.
The room was warm and comfortable (2adults & 2 children) and spotless.
No negatives, thank you for a warm welcome and would definatley choose this hotel again.

My husband and I loved this hotel we always book at least 6 months in advance as we request a particular disability friendly room. We have always had the sme room and it suits our needs to perfection.
On arrival this time checked in given key to usual room - it did not work - returned to desk to be told "Oh given to a non booked guest 2 days ago who is not disabled and does not need accessible room but cannot move him.
Can only assume just because we were using our points to pay for the room, that we did not matter anymore.
Very disappointed

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was cosy and had everything I needed. In fact, I would say it was one of the best places I have stayed!!! Nice shower, bed, sofa, desk area and decent sized TV. You can chose a soft or hard pillow and the bathroom has a cute blue light you can leave on to find the loo in the dark!!!! ;-)

This hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Harry Potter studio tour.
Lovely clean rooms, comfortable beds and really friendly staff made it a great visit.
Only 20min Train ride from the centre of London and the station next door also has a special Potter bus that takes you directly to the door and back for only £2 return.
The breakfast was great with lots of different options to indulge in from toast to sausages and scrambled egg to yogurt and fruit. (I think we tried most of it!)
We booked and planned it all ourselves instead of doing the national holidays trip and saved loads!

Stayed here whilst usual hotel was fully booked. Better beds and no arsing around come check-out.
Will stay here in future. Breakfast average (and I rarely eat Breakfast anyway) - but not any better at Jurys and that was way more expensive.

I staid at this hotel as it was convenient to Watford Junction Station, no problems checking in, room and bed very good, as the time was getting on i decided to try the bar food, I wished i had gone to the pub next door. The food was microwaved just short of being solid, the veg was a mass of water and a yellowish blob appeared to be mash. At a cost of £10.00 it was vastly overpriced. At breakfast I came down at 07.00 no one else there, the food had been put out, the so called scrambled egg was virtually a solid mass and one had to dig in with the spoon to cut it. At least the toast and coffee was ok, probably the best items on the breakfast menu.

I stayed here for one night with my 10 year old stepdaughter when we went on the harry potter studio tour. About a 5 minute walk from the station and from where the shuttle bus for the studio tour collects. It was a nice room and the foyer was lovely. My stepdaughter was over the moon with the hotel :-)

I stayed in this hotel for two nights with my sister, daughter & neice. Being located right around the corner from Train station we found this to be a perfect base for our London weekend. The train into Euston station only took 20 minutes and we never had to wait longer than 5 minutes at any point for the train.....they are very regular. The hotel itself is very clean and really has all you would need to use it as a base. Breakfast was great and we had no complaints whatsoever about this hotel. I would definitly recommend it and will have no hesitation using it in the future. All the staff were very helpful. Also ideally situated if you are visiting the Harry Potter experience. Also incredible value for money :) .

New hotel, standard room layout typical of this type of accommodation, very comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, all the in-room facilities that you expect, clean, reasonably priced with breakfast included. Only (minor) grumble is that there was no bacon on offer for breakfast (I do like a full English).

Stayed as part of a London City beak and trip to Harry Potter Studios. 2 minutes from Watford Junction station and the shuttle bus to the studio. Warm friendly staff. Very comfortable bed.. Great value budget hotel. |Would highly recommend.
