We were on our way from Yosemite to drive the PCH and stopped at this HIE the night before we were going to drive the PCH on our way up to Portland, OR. I literally booked the hotel while I was sightseeing in the Marin Headlands right by the Golden Gate bridge.
When we arrived around 8pm, they had upgraded us to a suite for being a platinum member, which was very nice. The suite was very nice; I liked that it was somewhat sectioned off and not all open like some others that I have stayed at earlier in the week.
The hotel recommended Johnny Garlics for dinner and I think we got a free appetizer for showing our HIE room key. The restaurant is part of a chain owned by Guy Frieri. The food was great and less than a mile from the hotel.
The next morning we set off for the PCH starting around Jenner and traveling up to Fort Bragg and then over to Leggett to drive through the chandelier tree.
I felt that the room was reasonably priced for being so close to wine country and San Fran. The breakfast selection was also pretty good.

A lovely place to stay and very well located for everything. Shops and restraunts in walking distance and vineyards a very short drive.
The staff recommended a tourist type drive and it was fabulous, through lovely vineyard and farming country to the coast and back.
Would happily recommend this to anyone.

comfy bed, not too hard, not too soft - very friendly staff. the spa is a nice touch and the breakfast bar well stocked. I think that the new water policy is terrific - the less plastic we use the better.....

The staff is always pleasant and the rooms are clean and fresh (which is not always the case with Holiday Inns) We like its location and will be back.

We were greeted promptly and courteously. Our room exceeded our expectations. We were recognized as Priority Club members.
We were so happy with this location that we extended our stay for two additional days. If we return to the area, we would stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. In addition to answering questions they would offer up suggestions. Very helpful and pleasant! The hotel was conveniently located right off the main highway and very close to local restaurants. There was ample parking during our entire 4 night stay. The room was clean and updated. Windows opened to allow fresh air in to the room as well. I would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend it to others.

I asked the staff i there where any fruits available for breakfast and it was not, however the staff immideately went out and came back with fruits before we had end our breakfast ! GREAT

This place provided everything we needed to have a relaxing place to stay over Thanksgiving. Great little gym even! The staff was accommodating and professional.

This hotel gives you what it needs to. A great place to sleep, clean rooms, breakfast, and staff that knows their way around. I was travelling here on business as we had an even in Santa Rosa. However, if you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is probably not the hotel for you.
It does have super easy access to the highway, quick travel to Santa Rosa, and surrounding wine country, and is very reasonably priced for the size/layout/amenities of the hotel. If you're staying in the summer (we didn't) there's a cute little pool out back that could be used. As a PC member, I did receive a welcome packet, which was nice!

better priced than competition, and this particular HIE is much better appointed than like facilities in the surrounding, for the price. price is still 15-20% high for basically a night's sleepover. charging for internet access this day and age is just not acceptable, especially on top of this already comfortable vendor overnight pricing.

Hot tub and sauna a nice addition; pool on the chilly side. Would stay here again, when in the area.
