We had such a wonderful time here...the hotel was awesome and a close drive to airport, the service was great and the breakfast was a big surprise with all the different chooses you had. I will defiantly be returning here with my husband and a girlfriends weekend too. July 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Peace and Quiet...and some Fireworks !! I stayed at this property over the 4th of July holiday with my grand-children. The property was very clean and the staff could not have been better.... And we could see the local fireworks from our windows on the 3rd ...We went to San Francisco for the 4th. I would certainly stay here again and highly recommend it to others July 8, 2014

They do a great job keeping the breakfast area fully stocked no matter how busy they are. I spent most of 3 months there on business; I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to wine country. Good staying but Heating adgustment. this couldnot adjust what temperature I set up to.never stop and keep going up. several times I need to stand up from a bed and off or on it during whole night. except this, overall are good. especially the staffs are very kind and responsive. Excellent location - easy to get on and off highway and visit other town and wineries in the area. The room was comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast was okay (good for the cold items - don't really like any breakfast buffet hot food). We enjoyed a complimentary wine and cheese tasting on Friday in the lobby. Front desk woman was excellent, with ideas, coupons, friendliness, and restaurant suggestions (Mary's Italian nearby was great, so we brought her back a dessert;) Loved the recyclable water canisters, as well as icy fresh lime water on each floor. Sat by the small pool to watch sunset and relax from our day. Room was clean and comfortable for my family of 4. Breakfast very filling with eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, etc. Thanks for being so accommodating! June 3, 2014

The entry to the hotel is quite nice, and they do a great job of recognizing Platinum members with preferred parking. The hotel is close to Highway 101, but rooms on the back of the hotel are plenty quiet. June 2, 2014

I would like to have a side mirror to be able to view the back of my hair while getting ready for work. It is nice to have an urn of water at each floor. The breakfast is handy. It is standard fare that will get boring if it is all that is available over a week or so. This hotel chain is reliable. I use it about 3 weeks a year for business travel. June 1, 2014

Located right off Hwy 101 you won't find better lodging than here. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, several shopping and dining options are local in the Town Green area and the staff here are very helpful. Tara exceeded expectations helping us with selecting wineries, restaurants and other Sonoma County attractions, and gave us tips and directions. We will return. June 1, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible experience Upon arriving I could distinctly smell an odor in the hotel room. As I was standing beside the bed, I could smell the pillows, which smelled like body sweat/odor. As we came and went, we could only use the elevator, which made me uncomfortable safety-wise. When we went to use the stairs, it was posted that they were for emergency use only and the doors were alarmed. We anticipated the clientele to be vacationers and/or business people; however, what we saw and experienced was a rift of what appeared to be homeless people coming and going, as well as tons of dirty construction men. We attempted to eat the breakfast provided, but the quality of the breakfast food was terrible. The room charge did not equate what we got; therefore, we checked out early and found a much better, cleaner, less-expensive place in Santa Rosa in which to spend our remaining five nights. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location, half the rooms noisy due to proximity highway 101 Checked later in the day, around 8PM, usually not a problem because being a Platinum IHG member most hotels will pre-allocate good rooms to Platinum members. However, I was given one of the noisiest rooms on the property, overlooking the intersection of the road with the entrance to the school down the street and the on-ramp to Highway 101. I asked the person at the desk why I as a Platinum member was being given such a bad room to which she replied that the property was full that night and in that case rooms are allocated on a first come, first served basis. So, not much point in being a Platinum member at this property, if you check in after 6 you'll be given the noisy fishbowl rooms everyone that checked in before you turned down. April 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy neighbors I stayed here on the night of March 17th and enjoyed the St Patty's day Irish Beer tasting in the lobby even if the tastings were one ounce increments. The evening was fine until around 10;00pm when several running feet were above my ceiling. Children were jumping and running down the up stairs hallways. I called the front desk to ask if they could help which I was assured they would make contact with the room above me. The noise did not stop but get worse to which I called the front desk again at 10:30 to complain once more and was again told that they would handle the situation. The footwork and running never stopped and again I contacted the front desk at 10:45 pm and asked for another room and was told that there were no more rooms available and I could leave and not pay for the room and that the Chaperones were told that they must stop or leave the facility. I have spent over 1,500 nights in hotels since 1996 and have never had this happen to me. I found out in the morning that these were not children but, high school students in town for debates. The issues could have been handled better since I also found out that these same students were asked to leave the pool area because of noise issues. March 21, 2014

I have been staying at the HIE Windsor since it first opened, The staff is very friendly and accomodating, I often alter my plans and they always have gone above and beyond helping me make changes, the staff also goes to great lengths to insure a comfortable and special stay right down to the "towel origami" in the rooms, this place is great!! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No no no Holiday Inn Traveling for work is virtually a weekly task for me. I support Holiday Inn as much I can and most of the time have a great experience. This was not one. The lady that checked me in read me the pet and smoking policy as if I am an imbisal. I am a gold member and know the rules. Attitude is everything madam and you failed miserably. I was tempted to cancel my stay pay the penalty and go to Marriott around the corner. There is only the front entrance as all the doors even the exit next to my room I'd coupled to an alarm. This necesitate a long walk every time entry or exit is made. Not a hotel for the business traveler. I will never stay at this location again. I stay in Hotels across the USA at least 35 nights a year. Very disappointing. March 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exellent i love this place. although it is about 10 miles north of Santa Rosa Downtown. but it is worth the drive. what i love the most is, they got a parking reserve for a Platinum member, ooooouuu hooouuu!!! yayyyyyy love it. i asked to have my room on the top floor and private, not a problem at all. highly recommended for this place :D February 7, 2014
