Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great time in aruba we arrived on april 7,2015 checked in by Rumaika who was great,fast and efficient check in.She later lent me a dollar for the computer,Lucien took our bags to our room bldg.7.very friendly and informative.Later we had a sound in our bathroom,we reported this to Lucien he informed maintenance and it was fixed right away.We had a great time at holiday inn we would come back here,all the staff was very efficient and friendly.cudos to you all,thank you. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great getaway I can recommend the Aruba Holiday Inn Resort and Casino to anyone. The nickname of Aruba is 'one friendly island'. The staff at the hotel represent the island exceptionally. From the manager to the maintenance staff, they know how to take care of their guests. However, I was disappointed with the use of booking the hotel through the IHG priority club. We initially booked 3 nights and 4 days. I called back about 1 hour later and extended my stay to 4 nights and 5 days. I received two emails: Email one was a cancelation and Email 2 was a confirmation of the update. I assumed all was well and headed out to Aruba from Dallas. Upon arriving to the hotel, I found out that Priority Club had canceled my reservations altogether. The hotel resolved this issue very quickly and although I did not get the room with an ocean view as I originally ask for, I was provided with a better room at the same price. The hotel, once again, took care of everything, other groups could not. April 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Comfortable room but no relief from the sun I was very happy with the quality of my room and the help provided by the staff. However, there is an important shortage of protection from the sun in the form of beach huts. On my check in day, I was told to reserve the hut the day before you needed one, beginning at 4 pm. I arrived at 5 pm and there were no huts available. I solved this problem by spending my 2 days at Holiday Inn at an adjacent resort on complimentary day passes. April 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Value - First Class Experience This Holiday Inn will not fail to please you. There are bigger and more expensive resorts nearby, but this one will keep you smiling. There is nothing low quality here. It's a lovely resort, with three very fine pools, immediate access to the beach, just steps from your room, plenty of free palapas (although you have to reserve them the day before). The staff are ALL very friendly and helpful. The WiFi was excellent all over the resort and even at the pool and beach!! The restaurants were good and we especially liked the breakfast buffet. This was our first time to Aruba and so we'd like to pass on tips to any other first-timers. We rented a car at the airport. The next time we go, we plan to take a taxi. There is not a lot to see in Aruba and what you can see is better done on their fine bus tour. Once you are at the resort area, you can easily walk to most of the other resorts and restaurants. Plus, you can always rent a car for a few days at your resort. Aruba was confusing to navigate around. The roads are not marked well and even though there is one main road, it actually is quite easy to get off of it and not know it. Again, because there are not as many signs as we are used to seeing. There are fewer traffic lights as they use roundabouts at each intersection. Other tips, when you leave, get to the airport three hours ahead of time. It's a small airport and can get jammed especially on Sundays. Your cell phone won't work (except on WiFi) and so you can buy Aruba sim cards at the airport that you put in your phone while you are there for inexpensive phone calls, texting and data. Or if you can't do that because you have a locked phone, you can rent a cell phone. Beware of the SUN. You will easily BURN the first day on the beach. Do it in small doses, cover up and use sunscreen. The best time to be on the beach - before noon and after 5PM April 24, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One Happy Holiday Inn Rooms are extremely clean, comfortable and bright. In fact they are very nice for a resort property with high turnover. Front desk was accommodating when I needed a 1pm check out because of a late flight. All staff are very friendly, striving to make your experience memorable so you will return. Everything you need is literally within steps of this property, a mall, movie theatre, jewelry stores, watersports activities, restaurants of all types (from fast food to chain to gourmet and all in between), ice cream shop, bagel store, beach bars, sand surf, Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. If you're going to Aruba the high rise strip is the place to stay and the Holiday Inn is the best value in the heart of everything April 23, 2015

We do offer beach/pool towels. Upon check in, each guest shall receive a towel card, which you can use to obtain a towel for use within the hotel pool and beach. After you are finished, you return the towel and receive the card back. We hope to see you soon.
