Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nicely appointed with superb staff The hotel is set in a pleasant and relatively quiet area within a couple of minutes of Earls Court Station and, therefore, is extremely convenient for both the museum quarter and the West End. Check-in was efficient and friendly (although very small - I saw no dedicated desk for Priority Club members) and, as a Platinum member I was most pleasantly surprised to be offered both extra points and a drink at the bar (it's usually one or the other at IHG properties). However, I was disappointed that no complimentary room upgrade was forthcoming, despite there being rooms available. As I was in a hurry to get to a party I didn't push things but one should not have to ask for the perks to which you are entitled. The room was small (I don't like rooms where the door from the hall opens directly into the bedroom area), but quiet and beautifully decorated and came with an excellent bathroom with a lovely "rain" shower and high quality Aveda toiletries. It was also gratifying to be told that everything in the room was complimentary including the drinks in the minibar. My one complaint about the room (and the hotel in general) was that it was stiflingly hot. When I first entered the room the air-conditioning was set at 26c (!) and even turning it down to the lowest setting of 17c made little difference and had the poor A/C unit chugging away incessantly trying to cool the room down. On balance though, this is a lovely, friendly and spotlessly clean hotel where the staff go out of their way to be helpful and I would be happy to stay again :-) December 22, 2014

The staff are always friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable and quiet and should you need to be around the Earls Court area, the hotel is in a great location. I would not stay anywhere else when visiting this part of London. December 16, 2014
