India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) Weddings & MICE Promotion – Terms & Conditions

IMEA Weddings & MICE Promotion 2026 (the “Promotion”) is a promotional offer available for selected wedding, meeting and event bookings which are booked at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts hotels in Algeria, Angola, Bahrain, Egypt, India, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritius, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Nepal, Bangladesh, Tanzania, United Arab Emirates, Zambia and Zimbabwe at participating InterContinental, Kimpton, Vignette Collection, voco, Crowne Plaza, Staybridge Suites, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express branded hotels. Additional unbranded hotels currently managed by IHG Hotels & Resorts may also be participating in the Promotion. See our Promotion web pages for full details of the participating hotels.

The Promotion is available to professional conference organizers, wedding planners and corporate bookers and applies to selected group, meeting and event bookings.

The Promotion is applicable only to new wedding, groups, meeting and events bookings made with a signed contract between the business organisation or meeting and event planner and a participating hotel between 19 May 2026 and 31 August 2026 (“Booking Dates”) for groups and events taking place until 31 October 2026. Bookings must be made through IHG direct channels including IHG hotels in India and the Middle East, IHG.com, IHG.com/meetings, IHG Groups Centre (ihg.com> meetings), IHG Meetings Centre (for IHG Sales managed accounts only), Cvent.com, and VenueDirectory.com. Check at time of enquiry if a hotel is participating in this Promotion. An event contract must be signed with a participating hotel during the Booking period for the terms of this Promotion to be valid and details of this Promotion must be included in the contract.

The Promotion applies to selected group, meeting and event bookings of 10 guest rooms or more. A minimum spend threshold may apply and is determined by the participating hotels and will be confirmed at the time of making a booking. Cancellation and no-show policy applies as per the booking conditions of each participating hotel and payment terms will be included in the meeting and event contract with the participating hotel.

The Promotion is subject to availability of guest rooms and meeting/event spaces at participating hotels. Black-out dates and exclusions may apply. All bookings remain subject to the terms and conditions outlined in the individual hotel contract.

Promotion is not available for repeat bookings and does not apply to bookings which are contracted prior to 19 May 2026 or which are made in conjunction with another promotional offer unless otherwise stated by the participating hotel.

Discounts, commissions and promotional benefits do not apply to taxes, service charges, tourism fees, municipality fees, gratuities or third-party supplier charges including but not limited to outsourced audio-visual services, decorators, florists, entertainment, photographers, transportation providers or external catering unless otherwise agreed by the hotel.

Benefits under this Promotion may not be combined with any other promotion, negotiated rate agreement, rebate, discount, loyalty incentive or third-party offer unless otherwise approved by the participating hotel.

Participating hotels reserve the right to modify promotional benefits based on operational requirements and availability.

Participating hotels reserve the right to modify, suspend or cancel event arrangements required by government regulations, public health requirements, travel restrictions, safety considerations or circumstances beyond the hotel’s reasonable control.

Wedding events remain subject to applicable local laws, regulations, religious customs, licensing requirements and hotel policies in the country where the event takes place.

Alcohol service, where available, is subject to local licensing laws, hotel policy and venue availability. Certain participating hotels or destinations may not offer alcohol service or may impose restrictions on service hours and event formats.

The Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law, regulation or organizational policy.

There are three separate components to the Promotion, each with their own meeting and event benefits which will vary depending on the type of group or event booking made at a participating hotel, as follows:

Component One: Professional Conference Organizers

• IHG One Rewards points are applicable for registered members only, and may be earned on both direct payment and master bill settlement.
• Complimentary room upgrades and complimentary rooms available for conference, meeting and event bookings at participating hotels are limited to a maximum of five (5) rooms per booking. Check with the participating hotels for full details at the time of booking.
• Upgraded tea and coffee options may be offered at the discretion of the participating hotel for bookings.
• Additional commission may be offered above standard commission structures, up to a maximum total commission of 10%, at the participating hotel’s discretion.
• A minimum food and beverage spend of USD 5,000 (or local currency equivalent) is required for each booking to qualify for Promotion benefits.
• A 10% discount on food and soft beverages outside the contracted group meal plan may be offered by participating hotels.
• Additional minimum food and beverage spend requirements may apply at participating hotels and will be confirmed at the time of contracting.
• Minimum spend requirements and qualifying revenue thresholds for benefits available for bookings may vary by participating hotel and will be confirmed at the time of contracting.
• Participating hotels reserve the right to limit or cap promotional benefits, discounts, upgrades or complimentary inclusions based on event size, availability and operational requirements.

Component Two: Wedding Planners

• Complimentary room upgrades and complimentary rooms available for wedding group booking at participating hotels and are limited to a maximum of five (5) rooms per booking. Check with the participating hotel for full details at the time of booking.
• Participating Hotels may offer additional commission above standard commission structures, up to a maximum total commission of 10%, at the participating hotel’s discretion.
• One (1) complimentary night at the host hotel may be offered, redeemable within six (6) months of the meeting or event and which is subject to availability, blackout dates and participating hotel voucher terms. The voucher is non-transferable and has no cash value.
• A complimentary wedding cake offering may be provided for qualifying wedding events with a minimum of 25 paid guests, subject to participating hotel participation and minimum catering spend for the wedding.
• Participating hotels may offer bonus IHG One Rewards points based on qualifying spend thresholds:
  • 50,000 points for qualifying spend between USD 10,000 and USD 20,000 (or local currency equivalent); or
  • 100,000 points for qualifying spend above USD 20,000 (or local currency equivalent).
• Qualifying spend includes eligible contracted guest room, meeting space and catering revenue only and excludes taxes, gratuities, service charges and third-party vendor costs.
• Participating hotels may credit bonus IHG One Rewards points to either the bride or groom at the hotel’s discretion and expense.
• Commission for wedding planners is applicable only at participating hotels within the Middle East and Africa region, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Participating hotels may offer 2X IHG Business Rewards points subject to programme eligibility and terms and conditions.
• IHG Business Rewards points are capped at 60,000 points per event or group booking.
• Participating hotels reserve the right to limit or cap promotional benefits, discounts, upgrades or complimentary inclusions based on event size, availability and operational requirements.

Component Three: Corporate

• IHG One Rewards points are applicable for registered members only, and may be earned on both direct payment and master bill settlement.
• A 2% additional discount on eligible master bill charges may be offered by participating hotels. The discount excludes taxes, service charge, commissions and third-party vendor charges.
• Complimentary room upgrades and complimentary rooms available for conference, meeting and event bookings at participating hotels are limited to a maximum of five (5) rooms per booking. Check with the participating hotels for full details at the time of booking.
• Upgraded tea and coffee options may be offered at the discretion of the participating hotel.
• IHG Business Rewards points are capped at 60,000 points per event or group booking.
• Participating hotels may offer 2X IHG Business Rewards points, subject to programme eligibility and terms and conditions.
• Bookings made under existing global, regional or centrally negotiated agency agreements may not be eligible for IHG Business Rewards points or additional promotional benefits.
• Participating hotels reserve the right to limit or cap promotional benefits, discounts, upgrades or complimentary inclusions based on event size, availability and operational requirements. 

Component Four: IHG Business Rewards 2X Points Offer

To be eligible for the IHG Business Rewards 2X Points offer (the “Offer”), a person must be an IHG Business Rewards member, which includes acceptance of the IHG Business Rewards Program Terms and Conditions, and the member must have registered for the Offer. Once an IHG Business Rewards member has registered for the Offer, the member will be eligible to earn double IHG One Rewards points on Qualifying Spend for all stays, meetings and/or events booked during the Promotion booking period and completed during the Promotion stay period.

For this Offer, earning “2X” or “double points” means the total number of regular base points and promotional bonus points combined will equal two (2) times the base IHG One Rewards points the member would normally receive as an IHG Business Rewards member.

Points awarded under this Offer are based on Qualifying Spend only. Qualifying Spend and point eligibility remain subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions and IHG Business Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.

IHG Business Rewards points awarded under this Promotion are capped at 60,000 points per qualifying event/group booking unless otherwise stated by the participating hotel.

The time needed for awarding points may vary, therefore please allow up to six (6) weeks for earned bonus points to be posted to the recipient’s account.

This Offer is available only for bookings at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts hotels participating in the IHG Business Rewards programme and is subject to availability and applicable local laws.

Hotels that do not participate in the IHG Business Rewards programme or are otherwise excluded from the Offer are not eligible to participate.

Members must confirm that the participating hotel has linked their IHG One Rewards account number to the booking in order for eligible bonus points to be awarded.

This Offer cannot be combined with any other IHG Business Rewards offer or promotion unless otherwise stated.

IHG Hotels & Resorts reserves the right to remove points, downgrade membership status, cancel accounts, or withdraw bonus points in cases of fraudulent activity, misuse of the Offer, or breaches of the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions or IHG Business Rewards Program Terms and Conditions.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, IHG Hotels & Resorts reserves the right of final interpretation of this Offer.
