Terms and Conditions – Guinness Men’s Six Nations 2025 Tickets Prize Draw by IHG® Hotels & Resorts

1. Eligibility:

The Men’s Six Nations 2025 Tickets Prize Draw by IHG® Hotels & Resorts (the “Prize Draw”) is open to all legal residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France who are eligible IHG One Rewards members aged 18 years or over at the time of entry into the Prize Draw (“Participant”).

Employees, officers and directors of InterContinental Hotels Group Plc and its various hotels, restaurants, parent companies, subsidiaries and/or affiliates (collectively “IHG Parties”) and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouses) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees, officers and directors are not eligible to enter.

The Prize Draw is void where prohibited by law, regulation, statute, or other appropriate authority, and is subject to all applicable national and local laws. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter the Prize Draw or win the prize.

The Participant confirms that they are eligible to enter and claim the relevant prize(s). The Sponsor may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Prize Draw.

2. Sponsorship and Administration of the Prize Draw:

“Sponsor” of the Prize Draw is IHG Hotels Limited, Windsor One, Arthur Road, Windsor, SL4 1RS, United Kingdom. The Prize Draw is being administered by the Sponsor.

3. Agreement to Official Rules:

By participating in the Prize Draw, a Participant confirms that they are eligible to enter the Prize Daw and claim the prize if selected as the winner and that they fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these prize draw terms and conditions (“Official Rules”). The decision of the Sponsor is final and binding in all matters related to the Prize Draw. Whether a Participant receives a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules.

4. Entry Period:

The entry period for the Prize Draw begins at 09:00 GMT on 18 December 2024 and ends at 23:59 GMT on 10 January 2025 (the “Entry Period”). The Sponsor is the official time-keeper for the Prize Draw. Any entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be included in the Prize Draw.

5. How To Enter

During the Entry Period a Participant who is an IHG One Rewards member (non-members may sign up to IHG One Rewards prior to entry) can enter the Prize Draw on the Prize Draw website landing page at https://www.ihg.com/content/gb/en/deals/hotel-offers/six-nations and register via the ‘Register to win’ link and provide the information requested on the registration form. Only one (1) registration per Participant will be counted as valid during the Entry Period and an entry will be linked to a Participant IHG One Rewards member account.

Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address, account, or device. Any attempt by any Participant to obtain more than the stated number or entries by using multiple/different email addresses, accounts, devices, identities, registrations or logins, or any other methods will void that Participant’s entries and that Participant may be disqualified. Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar methods will void all entries for that Participant.

6. Prize:

One winner will be selected from all eligible entries from Participants during the Entry Period and the winner will be awarded the following:

- Two (2) Guinness Six Nations general admission tickets to the Scotland vs Ireland game on Sunday 09 February, 2025 kick off at 15:00 GMT, Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh (the “Prize”).

- A two-night stay for two (2) adults at the InterContinental Edinburgh The George from Saturday 8th February – Monday 10th February.

In total there is one (1) prize available. The winner must find their own accommodation and transportation to the event and the winner will be responsible for all meals, beverages and other costs, charges and expenses incurred in claiming and using the Prize.

The use of the Prize is subject to the applicable ticketing terms and conditions and any applicable ground rules at the venue where the match takes place.

7. Prize restrictions:

The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be re-sold. No substitution of the Prize will be made unless the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, determines otherwise. There is no cash equivalent for the Prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize of equal or greater value should the Prize become unavailable for any reason.

The winner is responsible for all national and/or local taxes and fees or costs associated with receipt and/or use of the Prize, regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, is used.

If for any reason the Prize cannot be used, the Prize will be forfeited and the Sponsor will have no further obligation to the winner.

8. Winner Requirements and Determination:

Potential winners must comply with all terms of these Official Rules. Winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements in these Official Rules. The winner will be selected through a random draw from all eligible entries. The draw will take place on or around January 17, 2025 whereby all participants will be assigned a random number, and a random number generator will thereby select the winner of the prize draw. The winner will be notified by the Sponsor via email within 7 days of the draw taking place. Instructions for claiming their prize will be included in the notification email. If the Prize Draw winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond to the notification email within three (3) days of the date of the notification, is ineligible to enter the Prize Draw, does not reside in the United Kingdom, Ireland, or France or is disqualified, an alternate winner will be selected in a random drawing from all remaining eligible entries, with alternate winners selected until such time as an eligible winner is found.

Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. Sponsor will not accept screen shots or other evidence of winning in lieu of its validation process. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of Participants.

Potential winners are subject to verification by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Prize Draw. A Participant is not a winner of any Prize, even if the drawing should so indicate, unless and until the Participant’s eligibility, and the potential winning criteria, have been verified and the Participant has been notified that verification is complete.

Except where prohibited by law, the potential prize winner will be required to sign and return a Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release, which must be received by Sponsor within five (5) days of the date such Release is sent, in order to claim the prize. If the potential prize winner cannot be contacted, fails to execute and return the Declaration of Compliance, Liability and Publicity Release or does provide any other requested information within the required time period (if applicable), the potential winner forfeits the Prize and an alternate winner may be selected in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.

9. Agreement to share information:

Please see the privacy policy for details of Sponsor's policy regarding the use of personal information collected in connection with this Prize Draw. If you are selected as a winner, your title and surname may also be included in a publicly available winner’s list and your personal information may also be included in publicity of the Prize Draw, subject to your prior written consent.

10. Release:

By receipt of the Prize, the winner agrees to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, and its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and each of their respective parent and affiliate companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Prize Draw or receipt or use or misuse of any Prize or interpretation or reliance on these Official Rules.

11. Release; Limitations of Liability:

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by the Participant, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Prize Draw ; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Prize Draw; (4) printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the administration of the Prize Draw, the uploading, the processing, judging or tabulating of submissions, votes, or performance criteria (as applicable), or the announcement of the prize or in any Prize Draw-related materials; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from a Participant’s participation in the Prize Draw or receipt or use or misuse of a prize or prizes awarded. Released Parties are not responsible for any unauthorized third-party use of any submissions. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing, offering, announcement or administration of the Prize Draw.

12. Disputes:

Except where prohibited, Participant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Prize Draw or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the courts of England and Wales; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Prize Draw, but in no event legal fees; and (3) under no circumstances will a Participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and Participant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Participant and Sponsor in connection with the Prize Draw, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

13. General Conditions:

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Prize Draw, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Prize Draw, as determined by Sponsor. If, for any reason, the Prize Draw is not capable of running as planned, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to (1) cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Prize Draw and/or proceed with the Prize Draw, including the selection of winner in a manner it deems fair and reasonable including the selection of the winner from among eligible entries received prior to such cancellation, termination, modification or suspension and/or (2), as necessary, to modify these Official Rules to accommodate any changes in circumstances that affect Sponsor’s ability to carry out or run the Prize Draw as planned. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Prize Draw or, the Official Rules of this or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or, entries that do not comply with the terms and conditions or are found to be fraudulent. If any attempt is made by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Prize Draw, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event of an inconsistency between these Official Rules and any disclosure or other statement contained in any Prize Draw related materials, including without limitation, a Prize Draw entry form or any point-of-sale, radio, television, print, or online advertising or disclosures, these Official Rules will prevail and govern. By entering the Prize Draw, each Participant agrees to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with respect to these Official Rules.

14. Severability:

If the application of any provision of these Official Rules to any particular facts or circumstances shall for any reason be held to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court, arbitration panel or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction, then (a) the validity, legality and enforceability of such provision as applied to any other particular facts or circumstances, and the other provisions of these Official Rules, shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby; and (b) such provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible. In addition, if any provision contained in these Official Rules shall for any reason be held to be excessively broad as to duration, geographical scope, activity, or subject, it shall be construed by limiting and reducing it, so as to be enforceable to the extent compatible with applicable law.

The winner’s name will be available after winner confirmation is complete and will remain available for two (2) weeks after the event has taken place.
 

Book Early and Save Terms and Conditions

The Book Early and Save rate offers a discount of up to 25% off the hotel’s Best Flexible Rate, which is an unrestricted, non-qualified, non-discount rate. Rates are per room, per night based on single or double occupancy and are subject to availability during the Stay Dates. Promotion is available for room only and with breakfast.

Minimum 1 night stay required. Bookings must be made at least three (3) days in advance of arrival. Cancellation and no-show policy apply - bookings can be cancelled seven (7) days before your check in date without any charge. No shows or cancellations made less than seven (7) days before your check in will result in you being charged for the first night of your stay.

The Book Early and Save rate is available at participating InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Regent® Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton® Hotels & Restaurants, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Hotel Indigo®, voco™, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express®, Staybridge Suites® & Vignette Collection hotels™ located in the UK and Europe.

Bookings made through IHG Brand websites, IHG App, CRO or directly at hotel qualify for IHG One Rewards points. Standard IHG One Rewards programme terms and conditions apply. Visit www.ihgonerewards.com for details. IHG reserves the right to remove a member's points or cancel a member’s account if fraudulent use of the Promotion is detected.

In-room dining purchases, minibar purchases, private dining and other hotel incurred charges are excluded from the discount. City taxes may apply in some cities. Credit card guarantee is required to make a booking. The Book Early and Save rate is not applicable to group bookings. Rates are subject to availability with a limited number of rooms at participating hotels available for this Promotion. Blackout dates (days when the offers are not available) may apply in some participating hotels. Final bill will be in hotel’s local currency.
