Venice island

Catch the train right across the road and get to Venice, one of the most important Italian cities, featuring attractions such as S. Marco Square, Rialto Bridge, Murano and Burano islands.

Rialto Bridge

Among the most iconic and, above all, oldest symbols of Venice, the Rialto Bridge is a must-see stop on your journey to discover the city. Thanks to its majestic architecture and one-of-a-kind location, it never fails to offer stunning photo opportunities and breathtaking views at any time of day or night. The Rialto Bridge was the first to allow people to cross the Grand Canal.

Palazzo Ducale

A must-see in Venice, the Doge’s Palace is the oldest building in St. Mark’s Square. A Gothic masterpiece, it was built in 1340 as the Doge’s residence and seat of the Venetian government, later becoming an administrative center and, since 1996, a museum. Nearby is the famous Bridge of Sighs: not romantic as it may sound, but crossed by prisoners sighing as they caught their last glimpse of the lagoon before entering the prison.

San Marco Square

St. Mark’s Square, built in the 9th century and paved in 1177, is the only true “piazza” in Venice and the vibrant heart of the city, symbol of its timeless charm. Commissioned by Doge Ziani, it hosts the majestic St. Mark’s Basilica, also known as the Golden Church for its lavish mosaics. Overlooking the St. Mark’s Basin, the square is nicknamed “the drawing room of Europe” and remains a must-see for every visitor.

La Fenice Theatre

La Fenice Theatre, Venice’s main opera house, is a true symbol of rebirth: destroyed by two fires (in 1836 and 1996), it was faithfully rebuilt, preserving its elegant 18th-century style. Since 2003, it has once again hosted operas and concerts in a setting rich with gold, velvet, and intricate décor. Located in the San Marco district, it is one of the world’s most prestigious theatres, built in the classic Italian style with five tiers of closed boxes.

Peggy Guggenheim Collection

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, second only to the Doge’s Palace in visitor numbers, is one of Italy’s most important museums for 20th-century European and American art. It is housed in Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, overlooking the Grand Canal, and was once Peggy Guggenheim’s private residence, where she held her first exhibition in 1949. Upon her death, she donated the collection to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, which still manages it today.

Murano, Burano and Torcello

Don’t miss the chance to visit the enchanting islands of Murano, Burano, and Torcello—easily reached by vaporetto, Venice’s version of a bus. Murano will charm you with the ancient art of glassblowing, Burano with its colorful houses and lace-making tradition, perfect for stunning photos, and Torcello with its authentic, peaceful atmosphere and ancient history as one of the lagoon’s earliest settlements.

Treviso

Treviso is the perfect destination for a day trip. With its canals, Renaissance squares, boutiques, and trendy spots, it offers charming views and a lively atmosphere. Don’t miss Piazza dei Signori, the Loggia dei Cavalieri, and the scenic Isola della Pescheria. Head north to explore the Prosecco Hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with vineyards and breathtaking landscapes. Be sure to add Treviso and its surroundings to your Veneto itinerary!

Jesolo

Just 30 km from Crowne Plaza Venice East, Lido di Jesolo is the most popular seaside resort on the Venetian Riviera. With its long golden beach, excellent services, and a full summer calendar of events, it offers both relaxation and fun. Perfect for families, couples, and friends, Jesolo also features bike routes and attractions like Caribe Bay and Tropicarium Park. It’s the ideal destination for a dynamic and exciting holiday.

Padua

Vibrant in every season, Padua enchants visitors with its rich historical, artistic, and cultural heritage. Visit the Scrovegni Chapel, stroll through Prato della Valle, and admire the Basilica of Saint Anthony. Wander through the city center, explore Palazzo della Ragione and Palazzo Bo, and soak up the lively university atmosphere. End your day the Venetian way: sipping a spritz and reliving the memories of this unique city.
