The trail is flat and family-friendly and a good way to start the morning. We point guests toward the riverfront section for the best views along the way.

Brick Pond Park is a short walk from the hotel, a restored wetland where boardwalks and a covered bridge wind past ponds and marsh. Come for a morning walk or run and you're likely to spot turtles, herons, and the occasional young alligator along the way. The main boardwalk and paths stay well kept and they're open daily. We think it's one of the best ways to start your morning in North Augusta, and the wildlife makes every visit a little different.

Just down Center Street, the Sharon Jones Amphitheater is North Augusta's outdoor stage on the Savannah River, named for the late soul singer. It hosts concerts and live entertainment through the warmer months, with festivals and smaller events filling the calendar.
