Shuihui Garden, located in the northeast corner of Rucheng Town, Rugao City, was the secluded retreat of the late Ming-early Qing literati Mao Pijiang and the famed Qinhuai courtesan Dong Xiaowan. Originally built during the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty, this classical garden was meticulously developed over generations into a culturally rich landscape.
