Indian Mounds Park is located on 37 acres at 5th & Harrison and is home to Indian Mounds Pool, Quincy’s first public swimming pool. There are picnic tables, drinking fountains and concessions available inside the pool area. Indian Mounds Park has a scenic view of the Mississippi River and has some of the best preserved Native American Indian Burial Mounds in the country. A walking timeline extends along the road north of the pool that tells the story of the region.

Ben Bumbry Riverview Park is located on 23 acres at 2nd & Chestnut Streets. This is one of three continuous parks with rock-lined roadways on Quincy’s north side. Its main attraction is a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River. A statue of George Rogers-Clark overlooks the river. There is also a shelter house with picnic tables, grills, restrooms, basketball court and playground equipment.

Fishing For Freedom - Quincy is a no entry fee bass, catfish, and crappie tournament that pairs our Warriors (Active-Duty Military and Veterans) with our Boaters (professional anglers, avid tournament fishermen, fishing guides, and local outdoorsmen) for a fun day of fishing on our local fisheries.

Pepsi Little People’s is an international junior golf tournament for boys and girls ages 3 through 18. It has been held annually at golf courses in Quincy, Illinois, USA, since 1974, and has hosted some 24,000 junior golfers and their families.

The Oakley-Lindsay Center is the regional convention center for Quincy, Illinois and the tri-state region. It serves as the convention hub of the Quincy micropolitan area and fills the market in-between St. Louis and Iowa City.
