We were allocated room 111 no upgrades available seems hotel was fully booked. Carpet was stained mould around bath and on tiles. We asked for a a pair a slippers because of carpet they do not have them! We asked for a change of room the following morning which was agreed that was ok 112, but constant whirring outside air con I think
Breakfast was poor, poached eggs served without toast no pastries
Dinner ok price for two meals until it arrived lacked interest,skinless chicken, broccoli and new potatoes in a dish
Bar and bar staff ok and close to town centre the only good points
I stay all over the country with holiday inn this was my worst experience

Executive room was comfortable .
Stay let down by breakfast service and Bar service or lack of.

Staff really friendly and professional but room shockingly poor especially for an executive room.
Decor dated, wallpaper peeling in certain areas and room smelt damp.
It was a business trip and I arrived late and due to meeting with customers etc knew I would be spending little time in the room otherwise I would have asked for a move.
Sorry but would not stay there again
