Must See

Must See

The legacy of a family's passion for Victorian art and design, Wightwick Manor is a Victorian manor house located on Wightwick Bank, Wolverhampton. Owned by the National Trust since 1937, the Manor and its grounds are open to the public. It is one of only a few surviving examples of a house built and furnished under the influence of the Aesthetic movement.
Must Do

Must Do

The hotel sits in the grounds of Wolverhampton Racecourse, so it's only steps away from a day at the races. Live music often follows evening horse racing, and special events include the prestigious Lincoln Trial and a summer Family Fun Day. If you're more into football, join the roar of the crowd at the Molineux Stadium. The home of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC is a mile from the hotel.
Don't Go Home Without

Don't Go Home Without

Just over a mile from the hotel, family-friendly Wolverhampton Art Gallery displays Gainsborough oil paintings and an extensive British and American Pop Art collection featuring works by Warhol. A 20-minute drive away, 18th-century Himley Hall sits amid sprawling gardens designed by Capability Brown. The stately home opens from April until early September. Visit on a Sunday to enjoy afternoon tea.

Try your hand at being a zookeeper for a day at Dudley Zoological Gardens, a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The package gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the zoo and lets you clean and feed rare and endangered animals with the help of a professional keeper. The experience is available to adults and children over the age of eight.
