Skeezy hotel, in poor condition

We selected this hotel as it was close to the facility we were visiting. It’s really beat up. The bathroom doors had holes in it. They only leave two wash cloths in the room (two beds). The hotel does not provide a laundry bag. When asked why, they said “because of covid”... I laughed at that one. They removed all but one trash can out of the rooms. When asked why, once again, you guessed it, “because of covid”....

This is a dirty, poorly managed hotel that should be avoided.

You get what they give you, even if it's less than they promised.

We needed wifi. That was our reason for staying in the hotel. Tried it on three devices. Their login web page was down.

Told it would be looked in to, as some of the hotel had it working. (Those that had logged in before the page went down, apparently.) No one got back with me. I asked 3 times. They wouldn't change our room, either.

Caused us to make plans to stay elsewhere the next night!

Stay somewhere else. There are plenty of chiices. Hotel is old and not kept up well. Check-in was super slow. No one at front desk when arrived at 8 pm.

Clean and comfy

The bed was very comfy and great pillows. Shower was not strong enough to rinse thick hair and the bedside table lamp did not work but I still think everything else was good enough for at least 4 stars!

Dirty from elevator to rooms

Dirty hand prints all over inside of elevator (Covid!), lobby restrooms so filthy I walked out without use, first room had previous guest coat and dirty bedding on closet, second room bathroom counter (soap dish etc) were scaled and obliviously not well cleaned, foot prints on window and granite sill!!

Despite the difficulties presented to all of us by the recent storm, and despite the persistent Covid challenges, we were treated in a manner which made us comfortable in every respect And feeling safe and secure from the outside environment. Thanks to all of you in every level of responsibility. We enjoyed our stay with you!

Great in a pinch

Our power had gone out and it was one of a handful of rooms left in the city. We had to wait almost 2 hrs for our room to be ready because due to bad weather, they were short staffed.
We reserved a slot to use the indoor pool and had a very excited 4 yr old ready to swim in the middle of an ice storm but when they went downstairs to swim, the pool was freezing. It was indoor so we assumed it was heated.
There were not any large towels in bathroom and the heater wouldnt turn up, down or off.
There was an ice machine but no vending machines. No restaurant or bar for drinks of any kind.

Abnormally poor experience

Due to covid-19 hotels are taking short cuts but this experience was unexpected, and it maybe due to the sudden inclement weather and power outages in oklahoma city on that particular day they were caught unaware of being swamped by customers and took extra short cuts and rented half cleaned rooms.

COVID Superspreader Hotel

No regard for masks by housekeepers, front desk staff and management, much less requiring guests to comply with local mask ordinance. Front desk staff...all but one did not comply, one said she cannot wear one, sometimes had it, sometimes not,...can you at least get a face shield? Housekeepers came to room with no mask and said it’s not required while they are “on the floor” whatever that means. Even after bringing concerns to management’s attention no real improvements were noted. Had to buy my own coffee pods because they ran out, when I asked housekeeping for towels they said to get them myself from front desk. Stayed 4 nights.

Lack luster

Booking and check-in were as expected, pretty straight forward. Our room appeared pretty clean, at 1st glance. After finding a used towel hanging in the closet and a barbie boot under the counter, by the trash, I questioned how clean my room might actually be. Television didn't work, we didn't let front desk know immediately as it was close to midnight when we realized. We let them know upon checkout and were told a work order would be out in and that's it, no apology, nothing. There was no breakfast, not even a grab and go option like many hotels are offering during Covid. A little disappointed with the stay.
