- 3 treadmills, but only 1 works (happens to be the oldest, bare-bones model of the lot).
- cycle trainer doesn't work.
- elliptical sounded like a shopping cart with a bad wheel.
- the adjacent bike/pedestrian trail is separated from the hotel with barbed wire fence (with good reason, considering the crime statistics for the area#.
- Great place to sleep and eat breakfast.
- Impressed by lack of airplane noise inside the building.
- Bring your government ID with you for discount. Manager for previous stay would have made a great government employee #couldn't distinguish the intent of policy from the letter - bureaucrat to the core).

No laundry--would've been convenient but not a deal killer. After 10 days of golf all over the southeast, laundry is a necessary function of travel.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jmac45062 Quiet Night's Stay
I was a little let down as to what I actually got compared to the price and description of the room. I booked "King Bed Executive Floor," with that name I envisioned a spacious room with a little nicer amenities. Plus, the fact that I paid above the standard room price lead me to believe I was getting a little extra. Not the case. Room was very "standard," Bathroom was small with sink and mirror located outside of the bathroom. The room did come with microwave and mini fridge. The desk chair had seen better days.
The PROS: Bed was pretty comfortable. But the amazing thing about this location... quiet! As I pulled into the parking lot I noticed all of the commercial jets landing not far from hotel location. I thought to myself, ugh... this is gonna be terrible hearing all these planes all night. Once I entered the hotel and my room, ( was on the top floor) I honestly did not hear one single plane all evening!
So next time I stay in this location I think I will save the extra $30 and book the standard room. "King Bed Executive Floor" is just face value for what it was... you get a king size bed on the floor that all of the executive rooms are on.

I always have a very nice stay at this hotel. It is close to the airport and they provide a free shuttle. The breakfast is a nice variety and very good. The staff is always very friendly and welcoming. They are very quick to adjust issues. The only downside is the sinks are not in the bathrooms. I usually stay here each time I am in the area. The rates are super affordable.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by beye2020 A place to call home
Have stayed here for 4 straight years in march. We come for a Trade Show/Conference at the GWCC. Easy 20 minute drive to downtown. This place always makes us feel secure with their gate that opens/closes with a code that is changed every few days. Breakfast is so fresh and filling. Rooms are clean and the staff is so friendly. You have to stay here to realize how quiet a hotel can be. Directly across from the Airport but its quieter than in your car when planes fly overhead. It's not an assembly line front desk...you are treated as an individual...Yes, I brag because this organization needs to know that they are a different breed. Will always be back !

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JLM01 Bring your own food
There are no restaurants in the hotel or nearby. If you arrive late, no one takes orders for delivery after 9:45pm. Bring your own food, unless you don't mind vending machine food or tuna/spam in a can.
The hotel was, however extremely quiet for being near the airport.

I had been away from home for two weeks. This was my last 3 days in a Holiday Inn hotel, having stayed the previous 10 days in Holiday inn's La Mirada and Anaheim in S. California. Accordingly, I had something to compare customer service to. This was a business trip. I work through the night and usually went to bed at 5 or 6am. Accordingly, I requested my room be the last cleaned so that house keeping did not knock on my door at 9am waking me up. La Mirada and Anaheim understood this and accommodated me with excellent customer service. The person working the night of my arrival (her name was Bey) took my request personal placed me on hold (10min) and then hung up. I telephoned back twice and she would not answer the phone. Finally I hung up and telephoned the outside number using my cell phone. She picked up the phone immediately. I told her I did not appreciate her hanging up on me and not answering the phone from my room. I told her special request were common place and requested the name of her supervisor. After 14days of being away from home. I just let it go. Holiday Inn has been good to me so this was just a one time experience with an employee who just needed more training on the special needs of an occupant.
