Home to more than 100 public artworks by renowned sculptors such as Auguste Rodin and Henry Moore, Harlow has been branded a "Sculpture Town". The famous Harlow Sculpture Trail leads from the Civic Centre to the Water Gardens shopping centre and beyond. Within two miles of the hotel, you can learn the town’s history at Harlow Museum and stroll through the Walled Gardens at Mark Hall Manor House.
A 10-minute stroll from the hotel, Harlow Playhouse is one of the biggest performance spaces in Essex. It runs two seasonal programmes of new and classic theatre, concerts, stand-up comedy, dance recitals and children's entertainment every year, including a popular Christmas pantomime. Football fans can watch the local club Harlow Town play at their home ground near the Greyhound Stadium.
Don't Go Home Without
Harlow Town Park makes for a fun family day out just steps from the hotel. This 164-acre green sprawl includes an adventure playground, paddling pool and skate park, as well as tranquil landscaped gardens and quiet spots ideal for picnics. Kids love the Pets' Corner, where they can meet domestic farmyard animals like pigs and sheep, and more exotic creatures like reindeer, llamas and alpacas.
Between Water Gardens, Harvey Centre and pedestrianised Broadwalk, Harlow has plenty to offer shoppers within a few minutes' walk or drive of the hotel. You can wear your new designer gear on the huge dance floor of Harlow's Seen nightclub, or to an evening of live music at The Square.
