Port Eglin Main Beach Park and playground is just 2Kms away. It has a sandy beach, picnic areas and a children’s playground. The woodland trail nearby is great for walking and cycling.

Experience Pumpkin fest which is held annually downtown the weekend before thanksgiving. Witness one of Ontario’s most unique events featuring 2 giant vegetable weigh offs, one of Ontario’s largest 2-day car show, and a large number of craft and market venders. Fun for the whole family.

The Saugeen Rail Trail which connects to the 30 kilometre long Bruce County Trail Network, has been developed over the years for walking and cycling. The trail also connects Port Elgin and Southampton.

Enjoy the great outdoors at MacGregor Point Provincial Park. Do some winter camping in a Yurt, go ice skating on the lake or take in all the splendor of winter snow shoeing or cross-country skiing on the endless trails.

The Grotto, in Bruce Peninsula National Park, is one of the top tourism attractions in Ontario. A shoreline sea cave with the beautiful blue waters, the Grotto is a unique natural wonder and memorable place to experience. It is also a very popular and busy location, especially during the peak season of July and August and on long weekends. At those times, the parking lot will fill up and you may not be able to access the Grotto.

Located right in the middle of Port Elgin's downtown, you will find an amazing selection of fresh local produce, unique local artisans and yummy eats. The market is on every Wednesday throughout the Summer. This really is a must visit for visitors and residents alike and is a great place to meet the people that grow the food and make the artwork. Be sure to arrive early so not to miss out. The market starts at 9am and closes at 2pm.
