The Red River Zoo is a non-profit organization that specializes in the care and breeding of some of the world rarest cold climate species. The zoo's first 8 acres opened in the spring of 1999, and the zoo gained accreditation from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in 2006. The zoo is open daily from late April through late October. In the winter months the zoo is open on weekends from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please call the zoo to verify hours of operation as this may change without notice.

Bonanzaville is a pioneer village with 12 acres, 43 historic buildings, 400,000 artifacts, and millions of memories. Bonanzaville is operated by the Cass County Historical Society, with a mission to collect, display and interpret artifacts relevant to the history and cultural heritage of the Red River Valley.
