Beautiful property with excellent accommodations and service

We were completely satisfied from the moment we arrived at the Grand Mountain Lodge until we checked out. The service was fantastic throughout the facility. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel and atmosphere are great, along with a good location. However, the staff at the front desk are very much lacking any professionalism.

This is the ultimate best place to stay rooms are clean and comfortable
They have a variety of gaming slots and cards ect. They have a awesome restaurant and staff is very nice and friendly. We won’t stay anywhere else
It’s close to downtown area so it’s a quick walk to a lot of other places

This hotel resort was one of the nicest IHG properties I’ve stayed at. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were very clean, internet was great. The lobby was gorgeous and the history of the building below was very interesting.
Hotel is need of deep cleaning and upgrades

This is the fourth time we’ve stayed at the Deadwood Mountain Grand. The rooms have always been clean, quiet, and comfortable. Parking is convenient. Everything you need is at this hotel, yet it is a short walk to other casinos and shops in Deadwood.

The Deadwood Mountain Grand is a great place to stay. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The rooms are beautiful and clean.

Because this hotel is combined with a casino and event center, it was hard to find the hotel once in the building. I found the signs and staff very helpful in this process.
The staff were very professional and friendly. The room I stayed in was very clean.
The view was the best part. You can see all of Deadwood.

One can only choose the Holiday Inn Resort as the place for a weekend getaway. Our two large dogs were welcomed, even in the adjoining casino. The property was centrally located to all of Deadwood's offerings. A first rate experience!
Not what I was expecting...

The location is awesome, and that is where the high points are for me. Doorman was nice and helpful, as was the daytime hotel manager /staff. It is a casino also, so my expectations were high to start off. I booked a suite (only 5 out of 98 rooms) for me and my son to get together at. Room service was very limited even though the facility was not ever 50% occupied. The room is on the 4 floor of the hotel, 3 floors above the casino / eating places for a total of 7 floors, so eating in the suite required that long process. The room was large, but kitchenette needed a good cleaning (fridge smelled), the fireplace surround in the bedroom suite was hanging on (electric image type, not gas), but I manage to secure it. The bathroom was nice but 1) the integrated exhaust system for venitaltion was extremely noisy - alwasy on 24/7, and 2) the toilet ran continously once flushed - flush tower would hang on the flushing arm to lift the tower to discharge the water - I'm a MEP tech. I made the toilet work by leaving the lid off and manually adjusting it between flushes, lucky I knew what to do. The view was great. The eating places where in the casino - terrible service, unorganized (short staff I guess) and the food was just that...food. So, maybe the hotel and casino are different entities, not sure. All in all, did it but won't be back...but the location and view were awesome!
