Many hotels within a city are alike. The same vicinity, similar room layouts and standard check in times. What generally differentiates them are the small things.
The Hotel Indigo benefits massively here from its staff on the ground. Excellent, personal and service hungry reception staff make the effort from the moment of check in to the time you leave. Offering advice but also fantastically helpful when we were delayed on return to the UK.
The rooms are.cleaner than mist other hotels and simple things like a free mini bar and some thought on the layout help.
A credit to the hotel and the very thing that makes this a place to return to in the event of visiting Verona again.

The staff was excellent and the location superior for a vacation in Verona. The overall experience was outstanding. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced in Europe - fabulous food quality and selection

Muy agradable estancia. El hotel está a diez minutos a pie desde la estación de tren, quince minutos con las maletas en una amplia avenida, sin error posible. Como no lo sabíamos, en la ida tomamos un taxi -cuatro minutos, ocho euros- y al día siguiente regresamos a pie a la estación. Tienen unos escalones en la entrada; no sé si habrá una rampa accesible que no he visto. El personal es amabilísimo, apenas llegados nos guardaron las maletas -faltaban cuatro horas para el check in- y nos regalaron un mapa indicándonos lo que debíamos ver. A pie tardas algo menos de seis minutos en llegar a la plaza principal de la ciudad, junto al anfiteatro romano (las famosas Arenas de Verona), y tras una larga visita -no os perdáis Santa Anastasia- resulta fantástico regresar por la noche y encontrarte una habitación de lujo, un cuarto de baño impoluto y al día siguiente tomar un desayuno generoso... Repetiría mil veces la experiencia.
