Quirky and cosy boutique!

We stayed here for my husbands birthday-very impressed with the design/quirks of the hotel. Lovely Welsh designs/furnishings! Hotel receptionist was very welcoming and friendly. Loved our room, the little touches such as a free bar and cosy area. Also the Welsh toiletries smelt beautiful.
The disappointing factor was the breakfast We stood for 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. We then had to ask for our hot drinks three times as although we ordered as soon as we sat down. The breakfast bar had nothing left, all the juices were gone along with the pastries/yoghurts. I did mention it but no one appeared. Our mugs were also dirty. I would have given the hotel 5* if it wasn’t for the restaurant,

Really nice hotel. Welcoming staff.
Liked the bar and terrace. Bed very comfy and nice shower!
Cool designs and felt safe.

The room was really dark, the windows frosted and no natural light. Good shower and bathroom though. Breakfast service on the last day was appalling.

Quirky, boutique hotel in a central location, ideal for attending local events. Reception guy was professional and helpful and made you feel welcome. 5th floor room was comfortable and quiet considering central location with a great walk in shower. Breakfast was freshly cooked table service with additional buffet items available. Restaurant could be improved for evening dining. Parking was a five minute walk away in NCP car park at a discounted rate of £17 for 24 hours. Good restaurants and bars within walking distance.

The team at the hotel were lovely and welcomed us in to a nice and clean hotel room. The location is great as it is right on the high street. Not to mention a lovely wide range available at breakfast to get you started for the day!

Excellent location and quirky hotel.
Hotel is in prime location of all shops / bars / restaurants.
Staff all very helpful.
Provide coffee / tea / kettle in room.
We had moved hotels due to previous one being awful so they allowed us to check in early.
Would definately stay again.

A wonderful hotel with lots of character and little touches that make for a relaxing and refreshing stay. From the welcoming aroma on arrival to the Welsh vibe peppered throughout the décor, I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. The breakfast is incredible too, so make sure you wake up hungry!

Myself and my daughter spent a wonderful night here before a visit to Cardiff University. Everything from the decor, the location and the customer service (especially on reception), the breakfast and value for money was spot on.
My only slight criticism was that the room was a little bit dusty. Eg, the bathroom tiles behind the sink, the lid of the bin and the tales/coffee area. It certainly wasn't dirty at all, it just seemed that it had been a while since the room was used. I would highly recommend and will be using it again in the future when I visit my daughter.

I had a wonderful experience at the Indigo Cardiff. Every staff member I encountered were extremely friendly and eager to help! The location is amazing and within walking distance to pubs/restaurants as well as the amazing arcades and other city center attractions. Thank you!

Room as expected (twin with softer beds than before), A/C worked and not too noisy.
Friendly, efficient staff.
Bkst service worked well.
Bill as expected and correct points awarded later.
No car park but we came to bring our car for its service at dealer, left it with them, so no parking needed.
