Very smelly. Vibrating music stops at 2 Am. Avoid in my opinion.

This is our second stay at this location, which is excellent...very close to the Seawall, restaurants, shopping, and activities. I very much like the changes made during the renovation, and was pleased with the lobby, dining area, shops, and room decor. I especially loved the bathroom. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the varying firmness of the pillows, allowing everyone to pick what they liked the best. The Keurig coffeemaker was a bonus.
The only con was the location of our room. Although an ocean view from every room is talked about, our room (#212) had a partial view at best, the rest being obstructed by the restaurant out front. Additionally, the room is right above the pool, and starting at 7:00 a.m. until 11:00 p.m., the area could get quite noisy. Every person who went through the pool gate, including the staff, let the gate slam behind them. Since the gate is metal, it was tough to ignore the noise. Also, there is a feature in the kid's pool that has buckets that are filled up and occasionally dump into the pool. Every time they dumped, they made a loud squeak, also tough to ignore. I suspect if one is looking for a quiet room with an unobstructed view, they should request higher floors.
A couple of caveats: the entrance to all the rooms is via a covered breezeway, which some folks may not like. If it's raining and blowing, you stand a decent chance of getting wet. However, if you are on a high enough floor, you can look out your door to the harbor and the ships anchored there. Very cool. Also, we were a bit surprised by the $15 per day parking fee, which was not in place during our first stay, and the $8 per day amenities fee. I'm not sure what amenities they're charging for, because we didn't use anything extra.
All in all, a decent stay, but we will be sure to request a higher floor next time.
Nicely Updated Hotel on the Beach

This recently updated hotel has balcony views of the beach. Our room was fresh and recently remodeled. It was great to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view. The pool area is great for little ones or adults who want to relax. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the bacon smelled good! The hallways are open air and show the age of the hotel. However, it is these open air hallways that allow all rooms to have ocean views so it is worth it in my mind. I do suggest you pay a bit more for an upper view so your balcony isn't right above the parking lot.

The stay was pretty good. But both mornings there was an issue with water. The first morning we were there, the water was cut off from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. There was absolutely no notice given to guests. Fortunately we had gotten showers and were ready to leave for the day when we discovered the issue. (We were not able to flush our toilet or wash our hands.) The water in the bathroom on the lobby level was fine. The second morning, we discovered there was an issue with the water heater. I found out when I had to take a FREEZING COLD SHOWER! When we For a hotel of this caliber, I was surprised with the issues.

We were leaving out on a cruise and decided to stay at this resort. It was super good friendly. The food service was spectacular. They’re also allergen friendly, which is wonderful. We were super impressed with all the staff on site.

A very good resort and newly renovated. Staff were very friendly and polite. My status was well recognized here. I will definitely recommend it. Beautiful amenities and close to the beach.

No early check-in before 4 unless you are willing to fork over $60- pretty ridiculous and excessive. I've never experienced it before anywhere in the world. They don't answer the phones and nobody mentioned it anywhere on the hotel booking website. Rooms were nicely remodeled but not the hallways and elevators. They're kinda gross. We were told by not a very friendly female clerk that we can change in the bathroom downstairs and go across the street to the beach lol - unless we pay extra for our paid for hotel room that's just sitting there. Pretty ridiculous and greedy. Were later told that it got bought out by the Landrys that own St Louis hotel next door and that's their policy, insert eyeroll.
A comfortable room for a special weekend

We celebrated a birthday weekend here and had a very nice time. The room was comfortable, and clean. The pool and hot tub were a nice treat. Easy access to the beach across Seawall Blvd. I will stay here again.

The hotel is fantastic and so is the staff. Everyone very friendly and helpful. If you are going on a cruise it’s a great place to stay - leave your car parked and a bus will take you and pick you up from the ship terminal.

Great place to stay. The pool was super clean with great f&b service. We enjoyed having lunch and drinks poolside. The room was comfortable and the location to the beach is fantastic.

갤버스턴 아일랜드(Galveston Island) 한가운데 위치해 있어 다양한 즐길 거리와 가깝습니다. 거의 모든 것이 걸어갈 수 있는 거리에 있고 직원들은 훌륭합니다! 숙박하는 동안 정말 도움이 많이 되었어요! 갤버스턴에서 멋진 주말을 보내고 싶다면 이 호텔을 적극 추천합니다!
