To have to pay to park as a customer at 10 dollars a night
seemed excessive to me. Booking was deceptive. I thought
I was paying one price and found that they charged me another
for one night. heat / air had issues. Tub would not drain well.

We stayed the night before our cruise and could not have picked a better hotel for the value. We will be staying here for all of our cruise trips next year.

Room was good - great view. But noisy area if trying to get sleep - live band at the bar kept me awake. Clean room, but could use some updates.

I have visited Galveston since the 1960s and have had a couple of hotel/motels that were my go to, including the Flagship, and before that, the Jack Tar (look that one up) The island has weathered several hurricanes and has come back each time. Unfortunately when my go-to hotel succumbed hurricane damage I had to look for a new home and found it with this hotel. It used to be the east end of the island around Stuarts Beach was where everything was happening, but now it is more down toward the area of this hotel and westward toward the 61st pier. I like the height, ocean front balconies directly facing the ocean and except for the ground floor, everyone has a good view. VERY fast elevators. Onsite restaurant but I also like the in-room fridge and microwave to keep snacks in. Good ice machine on each floor. Housekeeping excellent and their answer is always Yes. Automated "Ivy" texts you immediately to see what you need. The location is GREAT but the staff has consistently been better than GREAT. They are all friendly and act like they want you to walk up to them, which is rare these days. Hotel rooms are hotel rooms, but customer service is what makes customers recommend them. I recommend this one.

Hotel dated, needs upgrade, frequently used by cruisers, parking is a plus. The live entertainment was incredible, bar staff outstanding.

Best hot tub in Galveston! The Staff, especially housekeeping, is absolutely wonderful. From helping us get to the room, to replacing the coffee maker and refreshing supplies, to helping me clean the elevator after my service dog had an accident (urine) before I could do it myself. This is the best Hotel and my go to for regular getaways to my favorite city, Galveston, Texas. Choose this one and you won't regret it!!!
Nice property we have stayed here multiple times. Problem is customer service it is terrible.

Main problem was parking charge. We did not park car in their lot and talked to more than one employee including management to no avail. So I will dispute 67.00 charge with credit card. And not stay here again.

Less than 50 minutes from home. Spacious room with all the amenities and a view. Clean balcony furniture with a clear view of the beach and waves. Walking distance to some high end restaurants as well as budget friendly options.
Roaches, bad wifi, and broken hot tub

This is our 9th time I believe to have stayed here. We’ve never had issues until this time. We saw at least one or two roaches everyday of our stay in our room. We had to throw out food because of a roach crawling into a box of donuts. I was working my second job while we were here and the wifi was very poor. The hot tub didn’t work which I understand these things happen but we should’ve been notified upon check in so we could’ve stayed somewhere else. I’m not sure that we will be back to this place which is disappointing as we stay here twice a year, every year.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was disappointed at the fact that the hot tub was not working for the past three weeks.

The overall stay at this hotel was decent. Friendly staff, decent food and good location made it more enjoyable. The only reason why I wouldn’t stay at this location again was the fact that the hot tub was not working and that was one of the reasons I decided to stay at that property.
