Nice small spot for kids. Bad WiFi and slow elevator.

Facility was dated, but it was not bad for $200 a night. Internet is .5 Mb per second which is almost useless. Interior doors had zero locks and were sliding doors. small kitchen sink refrigerator and microwave were nice. Fire alarm went off twice at around midnight our first day with absolutely zero all clear or information provided by the front desk and no service elevator for the workers so be expected to walk up and down flights of stairs to get anywhere.

Check in was good. Got to the room fridge didn't work. Sheets on bed were stained (did see that till the morning.) Shower didn't drain properly. No water pressure. They did offer to come fix the problem. We were on our way out for the day. I declined because we dont like anyone in our room when we are not there. If it was not a gift we received probably wouldn't have stayed there. I have stayed at their other locations and have not had these issues.
Not great for kids under 10.

Not great for staying with kids under 10. Pool has loud music playing at all hours beginning at 9am. You can hear it through the walls in your room and it’s very loud on the pool deck.
Rooms are dated and the laminate flooring is warped and broken but the room was clean on arrival. However we didn’t get housekeeping for 2 of 3 days. (Not fun to come home from magic kingdom to a full trashcan and old wet towels and washcloths. The mini fridge has a big red button which if it gets pressed will warm your fridge to defrost it and it will ruin your cold foods. We stored our son’s medication which needs temperature controlled inside and almost lost it because the fridge was warm when we came back to our room. An instruction or warning label would be nice especially since kids spent the day pushing red buttons at the theme park rides all day.
Some of the Restaurants weren’t open during posted hours, but the kids liked the pizza we ordered well enough.
The Transportation busses to Disney were nice and air conditioned and operated on time. You must register online through a 3rd party a day in advance to reserve your seat. With the required hotel parking fee of $30 per night it becomes a wash to take the bus since Disneys parking fee is also $30.
Nobody was around at the customer service desk for our 10am checkout, and the app checkout service does not work. Would have liked to have a printed copy of my bill before leaving.
Probably fine to stay here if you have young teenagers but don’t expect the usual IHG experience.

This hotel made our Disney family trip stressful. From day one, we encountered constant issues—starting with check-in. Although I had made proper arrangements for my daughter to check in, she was given a hard time. They wouldn’t allow her to check in using my AMEX on file and forced her to use her own card. I was in the process of traveling there while talking to them and sending her the money to cover the charges.
Later that evening, my 18mo. old grandson narrowly avoided injury when a large AC cover fell off the wall and landed just an inch away from his toes. There were no screws securing the cover, and the unit was filthy. I spoke with Lena, the manager, who apologized and offered us a $90 breakfast credit.
On day two, we returned to find the rooms had been straightened up but not properly cleaned. There was no scent of any cleaning products, and the coffee pods weren’t restocked. I had to call to request more, which they eventually brought up. The kitchen area was left exactly as we had left it—the counters and surfaces hadn’t been wiped down at all.
During all of this, the hotel kept charging my daughter’s credit card with large, random amounts—some in the $500 range. She called several times and was told they didn’t know why it was happening, but that the charges would “fall off.” The problem is, she used a debit card, so those charges held her actual funds. A lot of the staff had a nonchalant attitude and didn’t have real answers to many of our questions.
Even simple questions like, “When will my room be ready?” were met with responses like, “No ETA… not sure… we usually forget about the 3-bedroom units.” What!?
Not to mention the excessive fees being charged—so many that the bill becomes confusing. Our last night was booked using my reward points, and I confirmed the arrangement with Daneka (who was helpful). I provided my AMEX to pay for the resort fees, but when I woke up this morning, I saw three unauthorized charges pending—one for $920! I called and was transferred to voicemail repeatedly. I asked Nancyita to connect me to a live person, but she said I’d have to call back.
I’ve placed alerts on my AMEX, but this has turned into another day full of unnecessary stress. I will say the amenities are great for children, but everything else is not worth it.

Upon arriving to the hotel, I called to confirm and ask about early check in. Aš a platinum member, usually the concierge is nice enough to offer such an upgrade. They were unable to offer early check in, late check out, or a baby crib when I called ahead. Horrible start. When we arrived, the room appeared very old, the carpets were disgusting, and the floors were so dirty my baby had black stains on his clothing. He never touched the ground after that…disgusting. The baby pool area was old, the flooring was breaking and little blue pebbles from the floor were everywhere. Unsafe for babies that put things in their mouth. One of the pools was closed for renovating which would have been great to know prior to arriving and this information was withheld until check in time. Only one pool was open. Only good thing about the hotel was that it was only 10 minutes from all the Disney places. The staff was super rude, never said good morning or anything to the guests. They barely moved out of the way if you were carrying heavy items or children. The worst service/hotel I have been to with IHG in a long time. Very disappointed and grossed out.

The pool was filthy - hair balls the size of a small animal floating around. Smelled like Marijuana everywhere. The room was decent, but the floor was dirty in our room. The disney shuttle was convenient... but the kids were so disappointed in the waterpark. Half of the slides were closed and like I said about the pool being gross.

What a mess. Upon check in we were informed that “the second pool where your room is located is closed for construction. You booked a single room and will be upgraded to a double suite and given a $20 credit for food for the days of your stay.” All well and good. Except the construction is EXTENSIVE! The second pool was a massive pit and there was daily drainage of what smelled like a sewage line. Every time we left the facility, a new section of parking lot was roped off and made inaccessible like a strange maze. Two of the three entrances to the property were gated off so if you’re following GPS, you’ll have to drive around until you find the main entrance. All of this could have been fine except we came here to escape our Airbnb where our AC died while we worked the night shift. While trying to sleep during the day, someone was working near the elevator drilling into concrete walls which sounded like it was directly in our room. The weather strip at the bottom of the front door is not attached properly so we received a visitor of a slimey caterpillar on the floor of our room. The bathroom had an industrial drain in the middle of the floor for an accessible shower and the drain had all sorts of debris in it which made showering feel gross with bare feet. (I reccomend wearing flip flops if staying here) Ultimately after the concrete drilling we gave up and checks out a day an a half early to find another hotel.

Extremely lovely but the price is high. I had to pay extra for parking and the water park which should be included not added on.
Floor in room dirty. Have to ho to another building gor ice and luggage rack

Our floors were so dirty our feet were black. They had not been mopped in a long time. And luggage rack and ice had to be gotten from another building. But waterpark was nice . Also had lots of construction .

Our stay at Holiday Inn Resort Orlando was absolutely amazing. It’s one of the best vacations I’ve had with my son! The resort is beautiful and had everything we needed — from the pools, hot tubs, and basketball court to the water slide he loved.
We stayed in the suite with the bunk bed, and it was perfect — clean, spacious, and exactly as pictured. Our room was ready upon arrival, which made check-in smooth and stress-free.
There were activities all day, a DJ at the pool, a movie theater, karaoke, and a fun game room. The food at the on-site restaurants was delicious, and everything was very convenient.
For the price, the experience we had was incredible. We made wonderful memories and can’t wait to come back!
Great place for kids, but limited service

The room was essentials only. There wasn't plasticware. Impossible to get get a spoon or wine key. The hotel had a swim park that my son loved. Although, the pool bar employees were rude and entitled.
