Wonderful food! Lots of amenities. Very friendly staff. I have stayed here several times but have never been able to get a late check out.

Disappointing Stay!!!

Overall, this was a disappointing stay. We arrived on Sunday, 08/24/2025, for a 4-night stay and immediately noticed that there was a Wi-Fi issue in our room. We called the front desk and went downstairs to discuss the issue. At that time, the front desk gave us an IT number to call and discuss this issue further. According to Ovation Network (The IT support for IHG) there was an issue with equipment at the hotel that was impacting that floor and they were waiting on the resort manager or on-site tech support to resolve. Over a 2-day period, we talked to the front desk (4 Times), Ovation (4 Times) and the Resort’s IT staff member once (He was able to verify the issue and stated he would have to call Ovation and would keep us in the loop) – we never heard anymore from anyone on this issue. We even tried their onsite PC located at the front desk and its internet was down as well. Unfortunately, the issue was never resolved during our 4-night stay. We felt like even though, the issue was confirmed by Ovations and the on-site tech, that we did not get the consideration as guest that we should have gotten on this issue. In this day and time WI-FI is a necessity, and it was extremely frustrating that the only way for us to get WIFI was to wonder around the property on other floors or use Wi-Fi from other spots we visited. After going to this site for 20+ years, we will find another place to say when we visit PCB. One that cares about its guest’s issues!!!

We booked this resort kind of on accident, thinking it was the same one we had visited years ago. This was definitely a happy accident. We could not have had a better time if we tried with the exception of staying longer!
Already making plans to return ASAP for a longer visit.
Truly the cleanest, most well equipped hotel/resort we have ever visited. We parked our vehicle the day we arrived and didn’t move it until the day we left! Everything you need is available onsite or within walking distance. Great place for relaxing at the most beautiful beach!

All of the employees were very friendly and interactive with the customers. We met David with Guest Services, Phillip in Engineering who gave us drink tickets (very much appreciated!!!), and Jay, who we had met on previous visits.

Wonderful staff. Great stay as always. There is always great live music and shows. Some updates could improve the stay within the room such as the TV and quality. But everything was clean and handled wonderfully. Will stay again and again. Its our favorite place to be there.

My experience at the IHG in Panama City was my first negative encounter with the IHG Collection, which was unacceptable. First and foremost, the front desk staff were rude when I asked about a late checkout. I was only staying one night to meet my Navy SEAL daughter, yet the attendant dismissed my request, telling me to call back at 7 AM, which was utterly unreasonable.

I set my alarm for 7 AM and called the front desk, only to have a gentleman tell me to call back at 8 AM before abruptly hanging up on me. When I called again, a lady answered with a condescending tone and informed me that I could only receive one extra hour beyond my checkout time, after which she also hung up.

I accepted her response, tried to get some rest, and was abruptly woken by the fire alarm going off just ten minutes later. The customer service at the front desk is in dire need of retraining.

The only positive aspect of my stay was the excellent service from the Gulf cart drivers. Given this experience, I will not be returning to this establishment.

I gave the HI Resort high marks in all aspects of its operation, with the exception of easy, safe access to the parking lot (need a cross walk), and watering their landscaping. Sprinklers run constantly but not set properly to hit plants. Instead water runs on to the driveways and down the drains.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Laura was extremely kind and helpful during the key process, making check-in quick and stress-free. Cindy also did a fantastic job with my pre-registration, making sure everything was ready ahead of time so I didn’t have to worry about a thing.

The staff’s professionalism and friendliness truly stood out. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, and it set a positive tone for my entire stay. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well organized, but what made the biggest difference was the excellent service I received from the team.
