This hotel I stay at routinely and I have never had a problem small overnight room. Quiet clean rooms

GREAT EXPERIENCE TO REMEMBER.ENJOYED THE AREA,THE STAFF WHERE VERY HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING THAT WE ASKED THEM.ENJOYED THE COUNTRY ATMOSPHERE AND THE SMALL TOWN FEEL. IT WAS LIVE WE WHEREIN A FIVE STAR PLUS HOTEL IN A SMALL TOWN. YOU HAVE AN AWESOME STAFF.

This hotel would be a 5 other than breakfast is ok - it’s so clean, staff is very nice and helpful ….. it’s our place to stay everytime in Byron/ Warner Robbins

This was our first stay at an Avid hotel. We were surprised that the hotel was 4 years old. We thought it was much newer. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very functional. The breakfast had a variety of choices both hot and cold and was quite adequate for our needs. We would stay here again and will try more Avid hotels in the future.

This was a beautiful hotel for a stop on our way to Tennessee. I would highly recommend it. Very Clean and nice. Very comfortable beds

My family and I (four of us in total) stayed here for a weekend to attend my daughter's XC tournament and to attend the Perry fair. The hotel was nice and clean throughout, the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. They do offer check-out through the TV in the room, but I wanted a paper copy of my receipt so we checked out in the lobby. My husband and kids took advantage of the breakfast both mornings we were there and they enjoyed the hot options, as well as having multiple bread options available. My kids really enjoyed the juice dispenser. We would stay here again if we're in the area.

Check in was easy. Christine was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I asked about dining and she recommended one for us close by and we enjoyed it. The room was clean and enjoyed the dove products in the bathroom. Bed was a little soft, but we managed. Liked having firm and soft pillows. Plenty of places to charge our phones and laptop. Breakfast was good, except the cinnamon toast crunch kept getting stuck in the dispenser. GREAT coffee. I usually do not finish motel coffee, but this stuff was great. First time staying if an AVID, but if they are all this nice I will stay again. Very modern.

Check in nightmare. Used IHG app to make reservation and hotel had no record of my reservation. I am a frequent traveler and have been a IHG member for 23 years, never had a check in issue. Took over an hour to resolve. Showed confirmation number, reservation email and logged into my IHG account as well to prove I had a resevation with the correct location and correct dates. Alot of frustrating back and forth with IHG and desk receptionist. Had to get hotel manger involved to allow acceptance of resevation for same cost as my valid reservation. It was late wife and I were tired and hungry. Wish this hotel had a quicker solution for reservation issues. The breakfast eggs and sausages were cold and the potatoes were dry. Orange juice was watered down. Will not be staying here ever again.

An Unexpected but Lovely Surprise

While unfamiliar with the Avid brand, we were completely taken aback by this lovely, contemporary, and minimalistic (but met every need) hotel for our overnight stay…and so very clean! Breakfast had a variety of options to meet our preferences AND had fresh ground coffee (per cup) provided. An added bonus was the price…lower by $30 than typical competitors. I wished there had been 3 full towels in the room but I didn’t take the time to request a third. Bottom line~ we loved it! The next time we need to stay near Byron, Avid will be our choice!

Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was great for a midway stop on our route to Disney. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was the lack of availability of luggage carts. We would definitely stay again:)
