Poor Quality, Poor Management, Poor Services

The overall look of the hotel is not impressive at all. The condition the hotel is in currently summer 2025 they should reduce the rates to half so fair the price would be for what you’re getting. The swimming pool is under construction but I didn’t see anyone working there. So basically pool is closed. If you ask for additional blankets only one was provided. The telecom from room doesn’t connect to reception most of the times. The coffee maker in the room was trouble as well. We could not brew coffee at all through it. When asked to provide a functional coffee maker we were told that we can change your room but not the coffee maker. At breakfast only few items were provided. There was waffle machine but no batter at all. Not only one day but every day.

Hi There. We love staying at the Holiday Inn Express. We are Silver Members. But this location was different. We arrived at 3:30 pm. Check in was 3 pm. The girl at the front desk told us we would have to wait until 5:30 since most of the rooms were not cleaned. We had reserved a King extended room. I spoke with her and she found a room with a queen size bed that was cleaned. We checked in finally. We wanted a King bed. I am tall and like longer beds. Around 7 pm, I noticed that the main lamp in between the two beds did not work. I went to the front desk and asked for another lamp. The same girl told me that the hotel was sold out and she did not know when she could get me another lamp. I volunteered to go to any room to swap out the bad lamp for a good lamp. She refused. I even called Ihg to complain. We were sitting in a dark room. Finally, I decided to bring the lamp to the front desk at 9:30 pm. That was over 2 hours in a dark room. All of a sudden, I received a call from the same girl 10 minutes later that she had another lamp for me. That is bad business. I WILL NEVER STAY AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS LAS VEGAS-NELLIS ever again. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION. THEY DO NOT CARE. I even spoke to the guy at this location the next morning. He did not care either. We will be staying at other locations. I found out that all Holiday Inn Express are franchised. Never this location again.

What a disaster of a hotel. Accosted by a drugged up person as we got out of the car, and stared down by another one as we made our way to reception. As I checked in my wife and children were approached by a man carrying an open beer can and obviously worse for wear who came from the guest area of the hotel. The hotel itself looked dirty, dimly lit, and far from welcoming. We decided to get out of there as soon as possible! We lost our fee for the night, but would have happily lost multiple nights fees rather than stay here. Without a doubt the worst Holiday Inn I've stayed at in my 20+ years as an IHG member.
Go anywhere else but here

Nice large room and good breakfast buffet (purchased) but need a bit of maintenance. Pool was not functioning. Bathroom could use a paint/cleaning touchup

At first impression, the location had quite a lot of questionable characters as foot traffic along the street outside the hotel. The front glass doors of the hotel were left wide open signaling that there may have been some air conditioning issues they were dealing with. Upon entering and checking in, the front desk help was courteous and checked us in quickly. However, the front lobby looked a bit dark and less inviting in comparison to all the other Holiday Inn Expresses that we’ve stayed at.
The elevator areas and interior doors were dirty and dingy and in need of repainting. These areas were also poorly lit. On the 3rd floor, the doors to various rooms across from the elevators were missing door handles and towels were placed between the latch and strike in order to keep them from latching for some reason? Upon entering our room, the furniture was older than other HI Express we’ve experienced and the refrigerator, microwave, TV and living area lights weren’t working at all. At this point we decided not to touch anything else in the room and go to the front desk to ask for a refund and check back out. Looking down the hall we saw a box fan blowing at the end of the building as if there had been a water issue on the hall carpeting that they were trying to dry out. Upon exiting the elevator again, the lights above that alcove didn’t work and we were navigating with very limited lighting.
We approached the custom service desk to get our refund and we were told that she would need to get her manager to sign off within the next day or so which was very inconvenient for us since the charges would be on our card for an undetermined amount of time. We said we would try to find another HI Express in another area or town, inwhich we did successfully for that night.
Staff is great, mattress too soft

The staff was great, however the mattress to soft. The refrigerator and microwave did not work, did let the staff know as I checked out. And was not happy the pool did work with us having a little kids with us and it was 115° outside. Would have been nice to take a dip in a cool pool. I believe this hotel is in need of a remodel and some upgrades and it would be better.

Can’t believe this place is a Holiday Inn Express. The front desk person was friendly and breakfast was good. The carpet in our room was so filthy my wife’s feet were black on the bottoms after walking on it. The pool was empty and full of trash.

Motel 6 is not the expectation that I would expect from IHG. The place is dirty, unresponsive to concerns, stinky, poorly maintained
