Although the hotel looks very clean and is five starts; I was surprised that the sink is blocked and water does not got though properly.. like I am sitting in one star hotel.
I have called the duty manager but it was too late to fix it, I was not willing to waste my time in the same
Also; I have called the concierge at 12:00 mid night asking for Qibla direct he gave me wrong direct and the one who was in duty was not aware of the sign for Qibla in the room. When I called 6 pm the I got the correct info.
Final one the sound in the bathroom not working.
I feel I paid for 5 start but did not get proper value for that.
I was expecting the duty manager to compensate me for such bad experience.!

I have used the Intercontinental in Doha before and this was a rather disappointing return.
Booked as a business trip and travelling with a colleague on arrival advised that breakfast was not included despite it being included in my colleagues booking and this was only resolved with the intervention of a colleague who works locally in Doha.
The room although clean and modern had a peculiar external noise that occurred every 30 minutes or so and lasted for 2 - 5 seconds, and sounded liked some sort of plant or machinery outside the room, given the room was nowhere near a lift it was difficult to understand what this was however what it did mean was two nights of continually interrupted sleep. Overall a really poor experience and all the more so for the fact that previous stays have been so good!

The pillow are very soft should be more hard
and some times the bed sheet smells secrets
Room dining they never answer the phone on time
And they bring wrong order of the food and late
Good hotel very good place
new big rooms and big large bathrooms
Great prices of the rooms
Perfect location next to the mall and restaurants
