After breakfast take your stuff to start the “Old Spring City Tour”. Go sighting on the Black Tiger Spring, Liberation Pavilion, Quancheng Square and Baotu Spring. You can also take the boat to experience city moat tour, starting from the Black Tiger Spring station, vis the Spring Square, then arriving at Baotu Spring. Baotu Spring which is praised the No. 1 Spring in the World to enjoy the spectacle of “Baotu Spring rises high into the air and water gushes like wheel”. Lots of scenic spots and historical sites are located in the park, like Luoyuan Hall, Shuyu Hall, Eying Ancestral Temple, Guanlan Pavilion. The Baotu spring is keep constant temperature 18℃ all the year and around are more than 30 famous springs such as the Jinxian Spring, Shuyu Spring, Xibo Spring, Liuxu Spring, Huanghua Spring, Dukang Spring, Bailong Spring, etc. Then go to the famous Snack Street - Furong Street to enjoy the local delicacies in the bustling old city street.
After lunch walking through the ancient alley Qushuiting Street and visit the Baihuazhou. Spring water from Pearl Spring and Wangfuchizi becomes the river beside the Qushuiting Street. On one side it is the old house with black brick and on the other side is clear spring water with green alga and sometimes you could see the picture people washing rice near the river where presents the unique spring landscape, featuring the splendid prospect of springs and willow trees in every household and the crystal clear spring water flowing against the backdrop of the stones. Go across the road you will arrive the Daming Lake – one of the three scenic spots in Jinan. The lake covers 46 hectares with water depth of about 3 meters. There are 6 islands and over 10 major historic sites like Lixia Pavillion, Tiegong Memorial Temple, Nanfeng Memorial Temple and Beiji Temple, etc in the center and on the lake front of the Daming Lake. Lixia Pavilion perches in the eyot, which was near Five-Dragon Pool in the Northern Wei Dynasty, reconstructed at the southern bank of Daming Lake in the Northern Song Dynasty and move to the current sit in the Qing Dynasty in 1693. The pavilion is constructed with red columns and blue tiles, 8-angle double eaves, where the steles and poem tablets were written by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty. The couplets on pillars in front of pavilion are the Du Fu's poem inscribed by He Shaoji. Inside the windowed veranda is Du Fu and Li Yong's carved stone portraits and the poem.
Go out from the South Gate of Daming Lake, across the road is Qushuiting Street. There are ancient Jinan Style Courtyard restaurant on Qushuiting where you could enjoy authentic Lu Cuisine. After lunch walk to Quancheng road and after 800m walk to the east you will see the Retro Commercial Street – Kuanhouli. After renovation vicissitude of the past has taken off and created a fashion street in the old town. It has assembled various of delicacies, entertainment area. Perfect place for relax. Have a coffee or take a drink in the evening to enjoy a memorable night here. .
