The Christ at El Picacho is a towering statue of Jesus located on El Picacho hill near our hotel in Tegucigalpa. This 1998 statue is 98 feet tall, with the figure itself measuring 65 feet on top of its 33-foot pedestal. Designed by Mario Zamora Alcántara, it overlooks the city from United Nations Park and is surrounded by panoramic views, gardens, and walking paths.

The Estadio Nacional Chelato Uclés is a multi-purpose stadium that seats approximately 35,000 spectators. The stadium serves as the home ground for major Honduran football clubs, including Club Deportivo Olimpia and Club Deportivo Motagua. Beyond football, the stadium has hosted other events, including concerts and national celebrations. With recent renovations, it's a thrilling place to see a soccer match or concert while you're staying at our hotel in Tegucigalpa just 6 minutes away.

Take a day trip to Ojojona, a charming town about 34 kilometers south of Tegucigalpa in the Francisco Morazán Department of Honduras. The town is known for its 16th-century architecture, cobblestone streets, and skilled local artisans. You'll want to make plenty of time to browse the colorful rows of wares, from pottery to woodwork to textiles. With pastoral landscapes and a peaceful atmosphere, Ojojona is a perfect getaway and glimpse into Honduran life.

The Museum for National Identity is situated in a historic district of Tegucigalpa. Fans of beautiful architecture will appreciate the restored neoclassical building. This museum is dedicated to preserving the rich cultural and historical heritage of Honduras. Exhibits cover everything from the country's pre-Columbian civilizations to its contemporary cultural developments. A highlight of the museum is the "Virtual Copán" exhibit, which offers a virtual tour of the ancient Mayan ruins of Copán.
